Allen Hurns will likely appear on the top 100 tomorrow

#81

Hurns is one of my favorites, and he deserves to get paid. He missed a couple games after a concussion, played with a sports hernia all year, and still produced 10 tds and 1000 yards. Dude is ridiculously tough... after the years of Matt Loaf and Justin Tokemon, it's nice to have a player with heart (along with Robinson) @ WR.

Quote:Cooks just put up 1100+ yards and 9 TDs, and he isn't even going to be 23 until after this season starts. He is knocking on the door of being a top 10 WR.
And you just made his point. Our #2 WR as you pointed out isn't worthy to be in the top 100 but cooks, #1 WR is with less tds? Hurns 10tds. Cooks 9. Almost identical yards in less games. So tell me again why our #2 isn't better than cooks a #1? Or should I say a "top 10 WR" like you just said. Just go away.

Cooks better then Hurns?! No. Faster? yes. Better WR? No.

Had Allen Hurns been a 100% instead of playing thru injuries the last two years, IMO he would've been much higher than 89 this season.

Cooks is a very good receiver, the only thing he lacks is size. Other than that he has everything you want, the 2014 receiver class might go down as the best in history.

They had about the same stats and Cooks has Drew Brees throwing him the ball. So tell me how Cooks knocking on the door as a top 10 WR and Hurns dont even sniff your top 20?

Having Allen Hurns at 89 overall means that Allen Robinson is definitely on the Top 100 list.

I assume QB Blake Bortles made the list as well (having at least 4 Jaguars in the top 100 isn't bad for a losing season last year).

it begs the question is coaching the problem then...

Because Cooks did it in the NFL at the same age as Hurns was still at Miami? Age adjusted production is huge.

I would take OLB Telvin Smith over any of the 82-80...

under estimated but.. at least he made the list.

Not really, I dont care if the guy is 50. If one is producing he is producing. Plus they are less than 2 years apart lol, Hurns is only 24. Good try though. You act like there is a huge age difference

Fortunately the truth doesn't care if you care. There is a huge developmental difference between 22 and 24 in the NFL. Cooks, or Arob or Mike Evans for that matter, doing what they've done at 22 is far more impressive.

Ask NFL players.

Oh wait. They did. That's why this list exists.

Age has no standing on how this list is made though. They are just looking at who played the best last season. Not looking at potential.

So Bortles throws 35 tds, and Brady throws 36 tds.  Age adjusted, Bortles is much better than Brady and should be ranked higher.  Am I doing this right, or do you see how your thought process is [BLEEP] at best?

So Bortles should be throwing 80 TDs by the time he's Brady age. Can't wait for that.
