Quote:I'd be completely fine if it was just a month, but now there is a chance he's out for 4-6 months, and that's not good. 90% just 4-6 weeks. If it's not a major tear, which most reports indicate it's not, he won't need the full repair surgery. That rarely happens unless you completely jacked up your knee, which most agree is not the case.

I think a lot of you would be surprised if you realized how many players have had micro

Obviously I'm not doctor, but I'm guessing micro-fracture surgeries aren't as terrible as they used to be. They aren't new anymore, and they constantly get refined.
ACL used to be just short of a career-ender at one time. ![]()
Take a breathe guys. He'll only be out a month or two. Ramsey is going to be fine.
Quote:Somehow I'm glad he got injured and it was minor. The alternative for us is that he would suffer a season ending injury come mini camp. Now he can just chill for a while. Explain why you would be glad that he got injured again?? I prefer he not get injured period... Smh the mindset of some on this board is crazy...

Quote:So much hysteria over a guy being out a month in the offseason. Had we not already lost fowler last year and he beasted for us it wouldnt seem so bad. You cant deny you felt that sense of dread when you saw the thread title. Its not so much hysteria as a beaten down feeling. I saw the thread title and felt like most do "really what the f". Bortles is the last 1st round pick for us that genuinely means something or hasnt been mired in injuries , off field incidents or just sucked in almost a decade. Marcedes sucked, AluAlu sucked, Joeckel sucked , Blackmon moron , RW moron, Matt Jones moron, Fowler out for season, Harvey sucked........like the earlier video posted WHAT THE ACTUAL [BLEEP]????. Quote:Had we not already lost fowler last year and he beasted for us it wouldnt seem so bad. You cant deny you felt that sense of dread when you saw the thread title. It's to the point where if Yoda were a Jags fan, you wouldn't see his ears droop in disappointment. You'd see him roll his eyes, shrug, and go "Welp. Whatever, man." Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
Quote:Well on the bright side it gives him a month and a half to rest his body from the vigorous rookie offseason. This is actually the time players use to get in football SHAPE for the VIGOROUS SEASON!
Just want to point out that last year, JT80's finger was supposed to be a minor thing and we were told he'd be back quickly. The dude was out like 6 games. I'm not gonna believe Ramsey is back untill he actually straps up and plays on Sunday.
As of right now, he's got a knee injury that requires surgery. Who knows how long he'll be. I guess if we see him playing with the first team come August and he's putting on pad for preseason games, we'll have dodged a bullet. Untill then, I'm just gonna assume it's a 4-6 month thing best case, and a season ender worst case. That way, I'm not gonna be any more disappointed than I am right now. Really quick, does anyone have a report as to how he hurt his knee? What drill were they running? Did he make a bad cut, slip on the grass, did Jeff Gillooly take a swing at his knee with a lead pipe as he was coming off the rink?
What exactly happened?
Quote:Jerrad is giving it today. Ooh. Carry on lads. Did you mean to say "flat abs" or did auto correct get you?
I survived the Gus Bradley Error.
