Doug Baldwin, Seahawks agree to extension
|
Doug Baldwin was tied for first among all NFL wideouts with 14 receiving touchdowns last season. He's now converting all of those trips to paydirt into a bigger paycheck.
Baldwin and the Seattle Seahawks have agreed to a four-year extension, a source involved with the deal told NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport. The wide receiver will be making $11.5 million per season over that span, also per Rapoport. Russell Wilson has to be thrilled that his favorite target is locked up through the 2020 season. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000...-extension We show less advertisements to registered users. 10 of those TDs were over a 4 week period against the Browns, Ravens, Vikings and Steelers, the rest of the year he was pretty mediocre. He probably wouldn't get that kind of money anywhere else.

Seems like a lot of money for him. But, hey whatever keeps the seahawks at a high salary cap!
