Read up on the history and actions of the Susan G. Komen Foundation, it's pretty damning as well.

The bacon just tastes better off of a cast iron skillet.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

A keen racehorse owner and patron of football, the Earl became Prime Minister in 1894 and was also President of the Scottish Football Association and Honorary President of Hearts. His racing colours of primrose yellow and pink were worn by the Scottish national team on nine occasions between 1881 and 1951, most notably in 1900 when Scotland defeated England 4-1.
The Rosebery tribute Scotland jersey was worn by Hearts’ legend Bobby Walker in 1901. His original jersey will take pride of place in the new Hearts museum."

So, there is a reason for it... it's just disgusting.

That sounds like a made up thing. Lol

Yeah, it pretty much is... it's words thrown together to hopefully formulate a sentence.

So last night, the wife and I went to a social event which was put on by her work.

Hog roast, dessert and a free bar... Only stipulation was "no double measures and no shots..." - I got to try some locally brewed IPA beers... My wife said that she was going to drive.. So subsequently, I have a headache this morning.

I blame her.

The headache after drinking last night part belongs in the "trivial things that annoy you" thread.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

I'm sure that would be the case, If it actually annoyed me...

I knew the consequences of my actions, therefore it doesn't annoy me.

With that said, I assumed that it would be best placed in a general discussion thread :-)

My niece just had a baby and I found out that said baby has the exact same name as one of our regular posters on here.

I had to ask another person just to confirm what I thought I heard, and "yep, that is what I heard.

I'm not sure what to think of that.

Oh OK, I guess if the wife had the headache, that might actually annoy you and that would end up in the "annoy" thread.

Idk, if it were a boy "Senior Fantastico" would be kinda sweet. As long as it was someone else's kid.

This loosely reminds me of what happened to me at work on Monday.  One of the first things that the HR rep does here at work when a new-hire comes on, is walk around and introduce them to all of the key figures.  When they came around and introduced me, turns out that the guy has the exact same name as the clown that has caused my HOA so much turmoil....and money.

He looks nothing like the guy and I know it isn't him, but I have this strange urge to punch him in the face whenever I see him.  I haven't acted on this urge yet.
