If they keep Allen, Henne could become some attractive trade bait if a teams starter goes down during the season.

I have Allen taking Henne's job next offseason so this makes me happy. The way Blake plays he will miss some time with injuries over the next 3 years unless he's extremely lucky. If Allen comes in and plays well we could flip him for something good. Teams like the Pats have been doing that kind of thing for years.

Henne's just a real selfless guy. He's trying to show the rookie the proper form for getting a pass batted at the line of scrimmage.
