Depends what you mean by dumb? He's a great Salesman/Marketer of his brand. 

 

Academically despite all the opportunity in the world he didn't flourish. I would imagine he's of average intelligence

He didn't have the grades to go ivy league. But after a couple of years at Fordham his connections helped him go to Wharton. Or do you think he had out of this world grades at Fordham and on academic merit Wharton took him in?

He didn't get in though. He got transferred. Hey its not even a huge diss. He's average Intelligence like most of us. I have an MBA but also not highly academic.


His skill is sales. The best salesmen I've ever met aren't remotely academic.

He is still being audited.  His returns from 10 years ago may still be under audit - we don't know.  Anybody with such a complicated tax picture would likely be under perpetual audit.  It's a non-story.

Simple. Release taxes and shut everyone up. Don't release them and stay shady. It certainly will make fence riders think on whether he is legit, or a shady businessman that wants to finish his art of the deal by wiggling his way to the White House. Want trust? Then you can't be the only candidate to not release his taxes. Obviously, if he doesn't release, there is room for speculation.

Funny, Captain FourPutt is supposedly the smartest human to ever walk the planet, much less hold the Oval Office, but he wouldn't release his college transcripts for some reason even though there was no legal, IRS, ongoing audit issues associated with doing so. And the media really didn't care at all.

 

Now a guy who has a legitimate reason to not release his private information is castigated by that same media that had nothing to say about Obama.

 

It's almost like the standards are different for non-Democrats or something.

 

Edit: Something else that really stands out to me. Obama is also the biggest narcissist we know, yet he passed on the opportunity to brag to the world about how great his academic record is. I mean, this is the guy who makes every major event in the world, past and present, about him and yet, he wouldn't talk about his grades.
