He did dominate guys. Look at the Vanderbilt Georgia Tennessee South Carolina games

I remember an article on MMQB before the 2015 draft.  They had new Falcons coach Dan Quinn talking about pass rushers.  He said there's only one elite pass rusher in the draft.  I don't think he was talking about Vic Beasley.

Its funny some think he just became good. Dante was a beast at Florida. Ive learned some stuff from a few on this message board. He had a great 40 time for a pass rusher but 40 time for a DE means very little. His sparq and spider chart were not good at all, and the better pass rushers have high grades in both. Fowler has no bend and wasnt that good at Florida. Still trying to figure out why Dave drafted this guy

So you're telling me after he tore his ACL, he magically added all these moves into his arsenal and mastered them with an injured knee? LOL

You guys are ridiculous.

One thing is probably certain he has proved on and that is strength and it has showed. The year off and nfl strength and conditioning along wit being a year older. If you can push Parnell back the way he did thats impressive. Thats Parnell's strength is his strength. Not to mention the way he had Wells on roller skates with the bull rush

I don't think anyone is trying to say that he "just became good" but that we can finally see it against NFL caliber players.
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

He has always had the variety of moves, some just needed some tweaking. With him getting sronger, a year older, and now with NFL coaches and another year later to work on his craft it is all showing in practice. His variety of ways to harrass the qb is the biggest reason he was considered the best edge rusher in the class

I agree that he looks better now, then on tape. to me.

I don't care what he did in college, as long as it translates to the next level, and right now, it's all systems go..

Quote:He looks on another level than he ever did in college. His spin move, bend, bull rush... All thing that while he did some of in college, we're not as good as they are now. I don't think he even had a spin move in school.
Wait... So people can get better after college????

Um. I'm a gators fan and Fowler always looked more talented than those two.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

Nobody can watch his college tape at UF and tell me he showed bend like his now. It just wasn't happening.

The fact that there is a divide between Gator fans here rests my case. The guy was talented in college but the coaching clearly left a lot to be desired at UF.

Well he played all over at Florida and wasn't just limited to showing off his skills coming off of a wide edge. Regardless, it's easy to tell he has learned a thing, or two in his one year being around NFL coaches and NFL caliber players.

Also, you either have that ability to bend, or you don't. People don't just learn the ability to bend like that. You're born with it.

If I here or read bend one more time I might throw up.
