Freddie T apparently changed his diet significantly during that transition.  I recall Freddie stating that he used to eat McD's everyday then transitioned over to a very healthy diet.  Not sure is there was The Factor but it may have been a Contributing Factor.

Is it ok to eat McD's if you're bulimic and purge immediately afterward?  I'd hate to have this Big Mac go to waste, ya know?

He certainly was ready to go...

With a healthy Lee, this offense is sooooo loaded

Lee looked fine tonight and showed very good hands on one of his catches.  One thing I don't get is his tendency to run east-west once he has the ball.  That doesn't work very often in the pros.

Glad to have you back, Marquis!

"It's heads!"

"Wait, Lee is slow to get up. He's on the ground holding his right leg in obvious pain. Looks like they're bringing out the cart, we'll get the season started right after this time out."
now that is funny I don't care who you are

He looked pretty good last night. Can't wait to watch him Sunday in the rematch against the Jets.

Did he start out fragile or did he tear his groin from the bone and "earn" the nickname fragile Fred from the media from Coughlin misrepresenting the injury report all year?

Fred was dinged up quite often prior to the groin pull.

It was after the groin pull that he made the lifestyle changes that kept him relatively healthy from there on.

'98-nothing

'99-hammy, killed in the playoffs

'00-MCL sprain from the preseason

Regardless, the nicknamed was given to him in '01 because Coughlin made it seem like he was going to play every week after that injury by listing him as questionable (?) on the injury report knowing he would not be back that season. Yes, he did make changes in his life, but Coughlin is the reason he got the moniker.
