***Official Jaguars @ New York Jets Preseason Game Night Thread - Second Half***

Petty can sling it. The Jets have 4qbs. I wonder how they'll handle that.

Supposedly Petty was the odd man out. Now it might be Geno.

Quote:Last word was a bruise, and that if it were an actual game, he'd have gone back in.... but it's Preseason Game 1, so no point.  He's not playing for a spot.
Good news. I would just keep Hurns and A-Rob on the bench for the rest of preseason.

Hurns did play through many injuries last season.

Trade him to the Cowboys for a 6th?  I heard they still need a backup, and I get the impression the ship has sailed with Geno+Jets.

I couldn't care less if we go 0-4 in preseason to be honest.

Almost half of these guys won't be Jaguars players come week 1...

Hackenberg is sooo bad though. They wasted a 2nd rounder.

They'll have to trade Geno or Petty.

It's preseason game 1.  The score is irrelevant.

Just rewind and watch the starters again and feel good.

Geno has about as much trade value as Henne at this point. Best case is a player for player swap and maybe a conditional pick.

He certainly has plenty of time to heal up.

Caldwell got a 6th for Gabbert. Nothing would surprise me.
