Dorial Green - Beckham traded from Ten - Phi

#1

They picked up a guard Dennis Kelly to help become a ground and pound team.  Kinda silly to me he looked pretty decent last year when they played us.

Go Jags!
*To stay up for atleast 2 years 3/6/17
2016 draft players I think will be good
  • On the Fournette train, will be best back of his class 3/6/17
  • Lattimore please,  Lockdowns on both sides would be nice
  • Engram at TE and the MJD clone Samaje Perine

The Titans have traded wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham to the Eagles for offensive lineman Dennis Kelly.

That is what is being reported now.

Moves pretty well for a player his size and came down with contested balls vs us.

He has questionable work ethic, can't run routes, and has shown flashes of incompetence. The fact that Tennessee chose to give up on him this early speaks volumes

He had some flashes last year (mostly against us). But I don't get the sense he is the sharpest tool in the shed and he was buried on their depth chart. What a bust though for the Titans. Second rounder just last year.

does speak volumes to trade a 2nd rounder 1 year in for a 5th year guy who has never started more than a few games in a season.  The guy had talent, in my opinion thats on the coaching staff for not bringing it out.  If the guy doesn't want to work though, Mularkey won't be the one to get it out of him.

:teehee:

Green-Beckham was pick 40 in 2015.

Allen Robinson was pick 61 in 2014.

tacks think we've gone back 40 years. Ground and pound, lol.

They weren't planning on throwing the ball this year anyway.

Mularkey fails again.

Would think the Tacks would have at least gotten a draft pick for him

Probably the result of a schism between DGB and coaches or other players.   I remember at least two blurbs in the press on his character/behavior concerns etc.

He was the one guy on that offense that represented a potential match up problem for our secondary.

I'm glad they traded him away.

Why?  He runs lazy routes and he can't catch.  We got a backup guard/tackle which is something we need in the event Lewan, Warmack, or Conklin goes down.  DGB wasn't going to see the field much, if at all, anyway.  GM Robinson is just getting rid of some of the crap Webster drafted.

This is the Titans saying, "We give up. Get out of here. We are tired of dealing with you. Go be someone else's headache."
