Should we sign Karlos Williams

I would be tempted to claim him. He doesn't take a roster spot for the first 4 games, if ee don't want him after that waive him.
More competition and insurance in case one of our backs goes down early in the season.

Go Jags!
*To stay up for atleast 2 years 3/6/17 2016 draft players I think will be good
Suspended for four games and cut because he keeps turning into a tub of lard. You really think he's going to come back from a month off looking like anything other than the son of the Michelin Man and Rosie O'Donnell?

I think the Pats will sign him. Has all the makings of a Bill Belichick special.

He is an intriguing player. But you don't sign a guy that came to camp out of shape and has a four game suspension on the horizon.

If we didn't already have Ivory I would be all for signing him. I just don't see the Jags willing to deal with the headache considering he probably wouldn't see the field very much.

Sign him. Try to motivate him to get in shape over the next 5 weeks. If the running game is clicking without him, and nobody is injured, you can cut bait once his suspension is up. In the meantime you have an insurance policy of sorts that doesn't count against the roster.
Am I missing something here? Seems like a no brainer.
Somebody from 1010xl is reporting that the Jaguars are the team that is most interested in Williams.
Interesting.
Dude has stupid potential. Ran down Kermit Whitfield in the 2013 title game at 230lbs. Gets his life back on track and any team would be happy to have him.
According to an article I read on bigcat country, were rumored to be his biggest suitor. I say bring him in. He'd be a great 3rd string back.

If you do...you get a good RB. If you don't then you aren't out anything.

If they sign him I wouldn't be surprised if he "redshirts" this year as a Jaguar, get his life together with a focus on coming back lean & mean in 2017. Chris Ivory will be on the wrong side of 30 soon so DC is likely looking at the long-term here, TJ Yeldon & Karlos Williams make for an intriguing 1-2 punch. I had a chance to watch Karlos in multiple games last year and what impressed me is his ability to run away from defenses, at 230+ Lbs. Rare size & speed for that position.
