If the Vegas Raiders logo doesn't have a neon look to it, I will be disappointed.

Feel kind of bad for Raider fans. Right as their franchise is turning the corner on the field after a decade and a half drought, they have this looming over their head now.

The greed of the NFL is not going away any time soon.

I can't see Vegas being able to support and NFL team

Me neither.

I think what makes the most sense is them going back to LA and sharing the stadium with the Rams.

The Raiders would need to depend on visiting fans looking to spend a weekend in Las Vegas to help fill up the stadium.

I'm even more skeptical about the Vegas NFL franchise succeeding there.  Unlike the NFL which only has 8 regular season home games not counting a potential overseas game,  the NHL has 41 regular season home games.   In a league in which the regular season is much less meaningful than the NFL regular season currently is,  because 16 out of 30 teams make the playoffs, and there are no playoff byes.

It certainly would make sense for the Raiders to wait until the Chargers decide to exercise their option to move to the Inglewood Stadium. ,  I agree that sharing the stadium with the Rams would be the better option.

The stadium proposals sure do look great.

It's all just leverage to make Oakland pony up.

Getting closer to an official move. Las Vegas signing into legislature a way to pay for a ridiculously nice stadium.

If you don't want a home field advantage, you can totally play to visiting fans.  Vegas can support a team.  AT&T Stadium here in Dallas is not a home field, it is a cash shop for Jerry Jones.  Heck their practice location is an extension of the cash shop.

Fans deserve better. Thanks for all the good times too many are in the past.

That might indeed be the case.  Yet,  based on what transpired last week in Las Vegas,  it feels like Oakland is in a 3rd and 15 situation w/o the late Ken Stabler at the helm.

What you expressed is basically how Jerry Jones wants the entire NFL to be run.  One prime example of this is Jones supporting Stan Kroenke's efforts to move the Rams to Los Angeles.   Another is Jones wanting the NFL playoffs to be expanded.

Sucks for fans. Just as your team is starting to play better, time to move.

Sadly,  the fans are the ones that end up on the short end of the stick most of the time when it comes to sports business decisions.   In the case of Oakland,  they are on the verge of losing their team for the 2nd time.   Much like that has already happened to St. Louis.   Once you lose a team,  it usually takes a long time,  if ever,  to get a team back.

I actually think this will be a great fit for the Raiders. Their fans are already within driving distance of Las Vegas, and I am sure they will fit right in with everything that goes on there. Its a match made somewhere...

Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster

You certainly would know better than I would but from what I've read,   there are many relatively low priced flights from the SF/ Oakland Bay Area to Las Vegas.    As well as from the Los Angeles area to Las Vegas.   Whether that would satisfy enough Raiders fans in California is a totally different question.
