Actually, did you ever stop to think that I "disappeared" from the thread because I have other things to do?  If/when I am ever wrong I do admit it.  In this case I'm not wrong about anything that I've stated.  Some liberals like TAM like to use my term(s) that describe them against me... terms actually made up and used by liberals all of the time.

 

Regarding liberals willing to accept evidence and admit that they are wrong... I don't believe that ever happens and if it does it's extremely rare.  However, that's a whole other subject.

I admitted I was wrong directly to him in another thread I started by saying I had used hyperbolic language.  And he still kept trying to make me say I was wrong, when I had already said I was wrong.

 

I think it's a psychological thing with him..  He get's a pre-concieved thought in his head, and then he cannot see any other words than what he's already projected onto his computer screen.  It's very fascinating to watch.  But also rather off putting, because it's like you're talking to someone that isn't quite fully grasping reality. He's seeing the words on the screen, but the meaning of the words are distorted into his own narrative that he's placed upon you as a poster.

Did you not read my post?  I did say that when a liberal admits that they're wrong it's extremely rare.  Your situation happens to be one of those rare occasions.  Does that make you feel better?

Yes, I used to be the parody of the ultra left's position on guns. Conversations with people on here have convinced me I was just wrong in my thinking on the matter. I am now much more in the conservative camp on gun ownership from a rights standpoint though I still don't personally like them.
