My observations so far:

 

*Luke Joeckel is getting pushed around at LG. Kelvin Beachum is OK.

*Gus Bradley should have challenged the fumble that led to a Bengals TD.

*Although it was overturned, I loved T.J. Yeldon's effort on the sideline.

*The defense is disappointing, especially against the run.

Some excellent observations.

On a very serious note, (Collingsworth just said this) but doesn't it look like Bortles' throwing motion is off compared to previous games? He's throwing it like a baseball.

 

 

When did Bortles start having a hitch in his throwing motion?

 

I pointed this out literally just last week Crazy how important details don't get ignored when the results are different.

 

I think literally the only two disappointments so far are Fowler, and (nitpicking in general) Bortles' mechanics being loopier than ever. On the 17 yarder to Arob and the TD to Hurn he dropped the ball so low...

This half has been a wake up call. We need to do something fast about Luke. We also need the defense to play better and get off the field. We are close but it will take some time into the season until we see really good progress. The offense will be the offense.

Yeah and I thought 3rd down defense was suppose to be fixed. Can we please stop a damn screen pass? Also Telvin Smith has not had a good pre-season. Cause for concern?

Why does Gus act like we dont have play makers? He is such a chump when it comes to calling plays and game management. Bengals went for it on 4th and 5, we wouldnt at 4th and 1. Thank God the fans booed.

Wow that was rough. Kinda expected some struggles but as a team we looked lost.

Its as if we do zero film study and preparation for opponents.

We know the Bengals didnt and they look fine.

Yeah many 3rd downs they converted that we could've stopped. Telvin has played decent, I think he plays better when Myles Jack is in there. My main concern in Luke. He is getting bullied every play and we can't have that exposure for Blake all season.
