Ummm, the RIGHT foot is the plant foot for a right-handed QB. As you drop back, you eventually stop and PLANT your RIGHT FOOT, thus making that the plant foot.

I remember Boselli tearing an ACL years ago running down the field. I think it was against the Bengals. And don't forget about Martin Gramatica tearing his ACL jumping up in the air like an idiot celebrating a 33 yard field goal.

Sucks for bridgewater. Just hope its a one season deal and not a career ender. If this causes him to lose some power on his throws his days in the nfl may be over. Good kid with a good head on his shoulders who has shown some potential.

 In 2014,   Stephen Tulloch and Lamaar Houston had similar ACL celebrations injuries to the former Bucs kicker after sacks.    In Tulloch's case,  he became a one dimensional/ two down type of player in 2015 when coming back from his injury,  before being a salary cap casualty this past off-season.

 

 One thing Teddy Bridgewater has going for himself in a comeback quest is his youth.

He was running on the sideline with nothing but grass between himself and the end zone. The hamstring tweaked and he had to run out of bounds on that play. There was no fumble. We lost the game.

That's not the same injury. A dislocated knee involves at least two ligament tears and possible articular cartilage damage.
