Teddy Bridgewater potentially done for the season?

A knee can only bend so many ways.

You're incorrect.  It can bend north, east, south and west depending on which direction you are facing.

Also northeast, northwest, southeast, southwest....however it can NOT bend straight on until morning.

Assuming the knee is only one day old...

This is what's been making my head hurt so much recently.  Too much mind bending.

Incorrect. Bridgewater did not spend the 2015 season on IR. In fact he was the QB of the Vikings who were a playoff team in the NFC.

Quote:Saved his leg?!? Wow.

I mean, are we to take that as amputation could have been a possibility?

With a dislocated knee its a medical emergency that's why the ambulance was called and yeah you can lose your leg very serious injury.

No Fun

So logically thinking it looks like he first tore his ACL and possibly kept practicing on it, which lead to instability in his knee, which lead to his knee finally giving out and displacing itself.

was his lower leg like a 180 degrees, and the reason players around him vomited.

No reports stated such information. I only read teammates threw up because of how ugly the leg was.

That's an interesting thought. And definitely possible. A lot of people don't have a ton of pain after the initial tear itself.

That is why some players can walk off on their own power and others need help from trainers or a cart. It can depend on how bad the tear is.

This possibility aligns with what a game commentator said years ago: a complete tear does not hurt much because "there is no ligament" to feel pain. Of course you can take that with a grain of salt.

As predicted, Bridgewater incurred a major injury because of his slight frame.

And just like Teddy, Mariota will most likely suffer some type of major injury too.
