Well after reviewing the damage from the punishing sprinkles and breezes that came our way, I found a few twigs in the front yard. You may ask yourself as to what we do now? ...We rebuild.

After assessing the damage we discovered we have to buy a new range hood and duct pipe over our stove, possibly replace the subfloor under our stove due to the water coming in through a flawed design in a part the name of which escapes me right now. OSB (stupid autocorrect) loves to absorb water and become totally useless. And that's the stuff we can see. The tarp is back over the affected area and we begin the repairs tomorrow.


Very thankful it's not worse.

They are up here. At least pine straw is. Most people use it like others use mulch. I've seen almost entire yards covered in it due to all of the pine trees here. And if people don't have it naturally they buy it and have it put in their yards. Weirdest thing I have seen in my 5 years here so far.
