Against no defense whatsoever.

You got to be careful this guy is very streaky from what I have seen. Will play out of this world one game then the next you think he changed places with someone else. He is a prospect and if we want him for a back up to be developed then sure pick him up in the third or fourth round.

I thought I heard Martineau say Caldwell likes this guy on 1010xl one day.  I might be wrong about that, but pretty sure he did.

He's looking good but as Aurawolf mentioned he has been streaky. If he could play like this more consistently he could be a good QB

So QBs can only be good if they play in the SEC right?

You have to evaluate him somehow.  It's not his fault the defenses suck.

He's a second rounder and could make his way to the first through the process.

QBs I like in order:

Starters

Carr

McCarron

Fales

Jars on the shelf

Mettenberger

Matthews

Murray

One knock on Fales is his mediocre arm strength.  Most his passes float and will be picked at the next level.

Jimmy Garoppolo Vs. #14 Northern Illinois: 34/49..450 Yds..6 TDs..2 Ints

Jimmy Garoppolo Vs. San Diego State: 31/46..361 Yds..3 TDs..0 Ints

David Fales Vs. San Diego State: 27/48..301 Yds..3 TDs..2 Ints

Everyone needs to keep their eyes out for Jimmy G. I think he could end up being one of the better QBs of this draft. Recommend watching film on him if I were you. I live in Charleston, Illinois where Eastern Illinois is located and I watch him every weekend and the guy is a stud.

The defense has nothing to do with the quarterback's skill set. If you are talking about the quarterback's ability to read the defense and anticipate a play you are talking about the quarterback, not an awful defense that makes it look easy. And defenses have nothing to do with the way a quarterback throws the ball either.

I feel like Fales is so underrated. No one really talks about him here.

No thanks.  UDFA.  Colt McCoy with a weaker arm.  Is that even possible?
