At some point you just have to let go of what you thought should happen and live in what is happening.
 

Biden can't just step up and just assume the top of the ticket. The VP nominee has no special standing either. Ifa nominee resigns or otherwise drops out of the race after the convention, the party has to select a new nominee.


It's conceivable that Sanders would get the nod in that scenario, if he's not too busy decorating his vacation home.

 

  The question then becomes with Debbie Wasserman-Schultz no longer the head of the DNC,  which Democrats will have the most influence in selecting a replacement for Hillary Clinton if it comes to that?    It wouldn't surprise me if Obama used his pull to get Joe Biden on top of the ticket.

there's no denying that she has medical care available.  her body guard at her side is actually a doctor and her motorcade is followed by an ambulance.  all normal things for somebody who is FINE

And you've made it clear you're voting for "Not Hillary." She is not my first, second or third choice. I dislike her greatly. Just not as much as I dislike Caligula Trump. If there was another candidate I thought had the capacity to defeat him, I would gladly vote for them. It's not that I like her at all. I would just rather choose a candidate I don't think would destroy the country and possibly the planet, than one I think would. It's really that simple. We're two sides of the same coin. I don't think you love Trump either.
