Sexton was waaayyyy better than Frangie.
Watch the "Rapid Recap" of the Pack game. For the last play, the team that assembled the video didn't even use Frangie's call because it was laughably bad. I mean, it was seriously terrible. With that said, I don't really care enough to sign a petition.

IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS
Its 2016...people still listen to games on radio? I can't imagine not being able to find the game on TV somewhere.

Outside of the one Hail Mary call he was the emotional equivalent of a bowl of cold oatmeal. He should thank his lucky stars the team retained him in any capacity.
Only a chump boos the home team!
Quote:I look at radio personalities like this. I don't care how they sound, what they look like, or how they report their stuffs, so long as they are giving me enough info to paint the picture of what's going on. That's the problem. He doesn't give enough info to paint the picture. I'd rather have the guy that calls the UNF BASKETBALL GAMES over Frangie Quote:Sexton was waaayyyy better than Frangie. Exactly. I brought up the same example earlier in the thread.
Quote:Exactly. I brought up the same example earlier in the thread. Has to be one of the worst calls ever. He just sort of trailed off and ended with "he didn't get it." Maybe he is an uber-fan and was just too shocked to process speech. Hah, I don't know...

I had the opportunity to meet Frangie last year. He was a nice guy and I liked him and enjoyed our talk.
That said.... I don't ever want to hear him talk about the Jags ever again. Much less call the game on the radio. Quote:Its 2016...people still listen to games on radio? I can't imagine not being able to find the game on TV somewhere. My guess is most NFL fans don't listen to games on radio. But 3 audiences come to mind: 1. People that are visually impaired. 2. People that attend NFL games and want information during the game such as an analysts perspective and injury information. 3. Those driving a vehicle during the game. For whatever reason (s ), they can't be near a TV. Having said all of this, it's truly amazing the opportunities that exist in 2016 to watch your game of choice on TV or the Internet. As long as you are in a place with Internet access, the opportunity exists that you can get the TV feed of the game. Including, 1000's of miles away both in the U.S. and most countries around the world. Quote:I would gladly be the play by play announcer for you guys, would you like that? I can't live off of selling lemonade. Pretty sure its Ice T We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! I like to listen when at the game.
