My only concern is Prince. Ivory is a big head scratcher. I have heard gal bladder, kidney stones, lol.. who knows. Just wish him a speedy recovery so we can have a chance at a decent run game. I think Ramsey and JT will be a go, House/Ramsey would not be a bad 1/2 CB  if Prince is held out a week though.

  Privately,   we don't know what the Jaguars coaches and medical/ training staff are thinking.   It's possible Chris Ivory has already been ruled out. 

 

  The Jaguars don't have to provide a game status projection until Friday.   The less the Chargers know until then about the Jaguars injury situation,   the more the Chargers have to deal with in their preparation for the game.

His medical issue can keep him out indefinitely and we still won't sign another RB. We have enough RBs on the roster already.

Comparing Banyard to Grant is like comparing apples to oranges. They're two entirely different kinds of RB.


 

Obviously, the thought behind this is about the Jaguars need to provide some power running in short yardage situations. Banyard can do that better than Grant.

The Jaguars usually keep 5 RBs, and without Ivory they would only have 3 actice. I can see one being added for a power back role should something keep Ivory out for weeks, but I suspect he's fine and will play in San Diego.
