And if we lose tomorrow...

I'm noticing your early season optimism with your posts because all is not lost yet. I feel the same, but Bradley is just so worthless as a HC, I see this being another loss today.

I doubt you get blown out. You're more likely to blow out the Chargers at home & they'll have some serious soul searching to do. The Chargers are just as desperate as you for a win. You lost by a couple of points to what is believed to be perennial Super Bowl contender. The Chargers lost a three score lead in the 4th.

If you lose, it will be another close game that young teams struggle to win. I know you been waiting a long time, & Gustav seems to have been here a long time, but your strength, young talent, is also your weakness. It may have taken Gus a long time to get here & it's more than likely he'll do something at the end of the game that will make it harder than it should be to win.

But the Chargers need this win too. They're going to play like it. Can't be too upset if they pull out a nail biter.

Sure, you should expect to win some nail biters of your own, & to lose two in a row is going to hurt.

But theven division is not out of reach. Even if the Texans win today, it's only a two game lead & it's not likely they'll win 12 games this season. Texans still need to play Green Bay & there's no guarantee they'll beat the Chargers.

I always start optimistic. It's usually Gus that kills that by game 2 or 3..

The only idiot here is you, and you have been proving that to this board for the past few months. I see the proof, so I'm going with the obvious. Smile

I don't understand all this "if" or "when" or "we're going to" lose talk.

Do you guys go through life with this woe is me attitude?

I would say that Gratz should be matched up with a nobody, but Gratz was matched up against nobodies in the Buffalo game last year... and was abused. Ramsey will have to stay in the slot because that's where the Chargers will most likely hurt us, but Gipson will probably have to help Gratz on that side.

Agreed about Gratz. I think Rivers already has a game plan to exploit him and throw his way.

They will try to pick on Gratz, for sure.  I just hope he plays like he did in the pre-season and not like he did last season.

Will be interesting to see how they use the FS today. I wonder if they bring him a little closer at times to combat the Woodhead/Gates threat  - and just trust Ramsey and House to blanket their guys.  Williams is the only threat I'm worried about outside.

Me and you both......sometimes I think he has pictures of Gus with a lady if the night...the way Gus seems to favor him.

You could match Gratz up with a watercooler and he'd still get abused.

When you get into the endzone, act like you've been there before.

Fire Gus Bradley, give Marrone a 14 game job interview. Hire Tom Coughlin if it doesn't work out.

Quote:Not just lose, but get embarrassed...by an ailing team missing it's best receiver, and without their number 1 draft pick. If we get shredded again by Rivers, and it is a lop-sided win for the Chargers, what then?

I think we should have run out of excuses by now. Would Kahn give Gus the whole season to continue to work it out? Or would there be some sort of coaching change? Kahn doesn't seem like someone to make abrupt decisions, but he could be tired of losing too. Or, he could be happy that sales are up and wait it out.

There is likely to be a complete meltdown in Jaguars land, including myself, should we not come away with a victory tomorrow, or at least have a "legitimate" reason for not winning (such as a zombie apocalypse starting during the game). Just wanted to know what everyone thinks is likely to happen Monday, if we get demolished in San Diego.

You all excellent points. But the blind Bradley lovers will defend him to the grave.

If the Jags come back and win, what does that say about Gus?

That he sucks because we never should have needed to comeback in the first place

That's game...this team sucks...though that's not a surprise to anyone who's been paying attention.

The only good thing is with the inevitable losses this season is that Bradley will be fired.  I'm sure the apologist will pretend they were for the firing all along though.
