Don't shoot the messegner (Charles David doesn't believe Teddy Bridgewater is a top 10 guy)

I'm hoping this is true. If the Jags end up picking 10th or so, I'd be estatic to see Teddy fall to us.

I've been one of the biggest TB fans on this board over the last year or so, however, if QB needy teams choose to pass on him where he (theoretically) would fall to us at pick 8-10, then there might be a legitimate concern about him.

Why'd he have to dress like that for grades?

If Teddy is anyone in that draft class, its Alex Smith.

Which means we will be able to get him even if we dont have the number 1 pick, which is what I been saying for weeks, he is a top 10 player but not this once in a generation QB people tried to make him out to be, he doesnt need to be that to be a great Pro QB.

How did that work out for Aaron Rodgers and the Packers? You dont worry about what other teams do.

I was more responding about  if a guy falls in the draft after being expected to go higher it must be something wrong, theres a lot of good players just because a guy doesnt go where he is hyped up to go doesnt mean its something wrong with them.

Quote:Not that I want this team to wait but the 2014 QB is loaded, Winston, Petty, Mariota, Brett Smith etc..

Seems like every year is loaded. Early last college season we had Geno, Barkley, Wilson, and Bray

Quote:Not surprising, the closer we are to the draft the clearer the picture gets.  I wouldn't be surprised if Carr will be the top ranked QB come draft time.

Good, and I hope the Texans take Carr number 2.0. They probably will not though. They will fear the bloodlines too much given their last Carr

It feels like everyone was spoiled by Luck. Now unless you're the perfect prospect, you aren't a franchise QB. The vast majority of franchise QBs are going to have warts when they come out and it's up to the franchises to build them up.
