Love that little Marino-esque waggle to avoid the pass rush and throw the deep strike. Thanks for sharing, vagrant!

In regards to a good qb can't work behind a bad o-line.

I've always said this.

Seems like I was ahead of my time. I remember how NFL media types used to fawn all over the O-lines of Miami & Indy when Peyton and Marino were there, but I always saw it as the QB making life easier for the OL given those 2 were always so quick to get rid of the ball. They made their OL look good for the most part and not the other way around.

Not just that, but with QB's like Manning Defenses have to worry about the deep ball too.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Yep. Those two have the lowest sack percentages in NFL history for a reason.

What if Teddy doesn't declare for the draft?  Then what.... lol

I don't think he'd make a decision that dumb. Too many others in recent history made that decision to stay the extra year, only for it to blow up in their faces.

I can see how the rookie wage scale has decreased the appeal of declaring early.

This I agree with. Great QBs with great pocket awareness and quick release make an OL better. Peyton did that for years in Indy.

He took out a 10mill insurance policy and is graduating this year. He's gone.

QB > DE

If Bridgewater carries the same (or even a slightly lower) grade than Clowney, you always have to go with the potential franchise QB over any DE.

First of all, as someone else pointed out the 10 mil insurance policy pretty much guarantees he's declaring. If he happens to get a career ending injury or something...then you go Mariota or Hundley over Clowney too. There is more than one franchise QB prospect in this draft and you would take any of those over Clowney.

Jimmy Smith our best WR ever. Said Teddy is nice. As in a great QB. I will take his word and say Teddy all day everyday.

Why do you have to say "seems like I was ahead of my time"? Just discuss the topics without patting yourself on the back at every opportunity.

It's going to be hard to go 0-16 and outtank the Browns. We completed step one by losing to Oakland, but now we have to lose to Cleveland. This will be a long and hard season filled with plenty of suck. We need Gabbert to get back in there, do his thing, and ensure our spot for Teddy
