I have defended Gus for over 3 years now. I wanted him to succeed because he is a genuinely good guy. He doesn't make excuses or throw his assistants "under the bus" like Del Rio. My point was he just doesn't have it as a head coach and it is in this team's best interests for him to be gone sooner rather than later. 

And most importantly, I have a cat-not a dog!

I want him fired tonight dude, but I'm not going to root against him Sunday. That's just wrong, have fun rooting against us for 14 more games.

Call me crazy but I'm still hoping Gus and David put it all together and we start winning and I will right until one of them isn't here. This crazy notion that you don't think ____ is any good so you'll root for failure to see change is mind blowing to me? To me it's like taking off a band-aid. Either rip it off quickly and take the big pain once or spend a lot of time ripping it off slowly, which ends up incurring more pain than the first option.


Personally, I won't root for my team to lose. If they do, however, don't expect me to be upset. Maybe I'm a "silver lining" guy. This problem will eventually be rectified, when Shad is tired of being the owner with the worst record in professional sports.

I never said I will be rooting against them during the game as it is impossible for me to do this. If the team is 0-4 at  the bye week and he's still not fired then he will be given until the end of the season.

I feel like Gus sucks too, and I wanted him gone two years ago. Thing is, I'm not going to hope for losses just so he'll get fired. If we lose he gets fired, if we win, what is there to complain about?

They're not going to fire him mid-season. Khan has said before he doesn't believe in firing staff members mid-season, so I doubt it'll happen this time around. This could change if we actually do go 0-4, but winning is the best interest for this football team.
