Anybody catch Lageman this morning?

#1

Lageman seemed very perplexed by some of the coaching decisions this past Sunday. He talked about how the coaching staff were attempting to disguise what they were doing on defense while ironically telegraphing their plays based on the personnel (e.g. if Poz is on the field they are playing Man). He is still positive about the season and think we can win 7-9 games but today it seemed as if his high opinions on Gus were somewhat disminished.

Oh no, Senor Fantastico. Lageman has to sit on the floor. All the seats are, and have been, taken.

He seemed to put much more of the blame on the players. I do recall hearing him say he had no explanation for the last play of the half (That's because there isn't a valid explanation for that insipid call) and the play that Poz was singled up and subsequently scorched on.

Looking to troll? Don't bother, we supply our own.

Lageman has been an apologist for so long I do not care what he thinks. What a moron.

Our players were outplayed due to our coaches being outcoached.

it seems our Coaches have no answer for other coaches. They are out coached on every level. They need to get back to basics, smash mouth football and stop trying to be cute. The so called schemes are NOT WORKING. And please, for all that is good and decent, STOP WITH THE DAMN BUBBLE SCREENS!!!

Right now the problem is Shad Khan, not Lageman. Khan is as soft as they come.

Did he really use that Poz example? Poz doesn't come off the field. He plays over 90% of our snaps.

It's Mularkey and Gene Smith all over again.... everyone has to defend anyone associated with this team as long as possible... then after they are fired they want to look back and say how awful they were.

We are doing it again.  Bradley is worse than Gene Smith was.. and we all know how bad he was.  Bradley is insanely horrible at coaching.

It makes me mad just thinking about him still being employed here

Lageman is one of few who have a good grasp of the facts and makes informed judgments, and is certainly doesn't hold back when criticism is due.

He was also on the show with Dempsey and was quite frank.

Basically, he said one or two guys played decent and had nothing else good to say.

But for those who missed it, don't let that get in the way of a good bashing.  Caveman smash.

Why would we try disguising coverage like that? It's Philip Rivers, we're not going to catch him off guard anyways. Just line up and play in position.

There are only so many X and O scenarios we can chalk up ... good plays, bad plays ...

What he have here are a group of professional grown men who suit up, go out on the field and play in a piss poor fashion. They are professional, millionaire class, highest caliber football players who play like trash.

Gus could give them some sort of rousing coach-talk about getting better, maybe even play some sort of amazing jazz-flute solo and cry a little bit. When it all boils down, those players ain't that good compared to the rest of the league. Until they get their own personal crap together we will be recycling coaches like the Browns.

You're Welcome.

Boselli and Prisco kind of talked about how its hard to just fire him because he is such a nice guy on Jaguars Monday.

Go Jags!
*To stay up for atleast 2 years 3/6/17
2016 draft players I think will be good
  • On the Fournette train, will be best back of his class 3/6/17
  • Lattimore please,  Lockdowns on both sides would be nice
  • Engram at TE and the MJD clone Samaje Perine
