Poll: Should Gus Bradley be Fired this season

Fire Gus Bradley (MERGED)

The earliest they would let Gus go is after the London game. The bye week after that game would give the new coach a little time to try and right the ship.

It is now apparent that coaching (or lack thereof) is to blame for impeding this team. I really liked Gus (actually still like him). But it is apparent that he and Wash, possibly Olsen too, are all in over their head. Gus seems a like great guy to be around, but this team can't continue to have repeated debacles. Wish him the best. Bring someone in who can get the job done.

Bring Coughlin in with an expectation to keep him for 3-5 years.  Have a plan in place that he and Caldwell find his replacement during that time and bring them along at the right pace.  Coughlin would have us deep in the playoffs next year.

The issues are numerous, from questionable play calling, misusing players like Yeldon and Lee, to Blake's suddenly not being able to hit players in stride. Every pass if off target, just too far, too high, I believe Robinson is frustrated by these throws as he is constantly laying out for passes off target. Also Just throwing it up and letting AR go up and snatch it has been seen on film, and has been noted by other teams, so Blake please stop it. Moving the Joke inside is a way to hide him and make everyone forget what a wasted pick he was. The defense with Poz chasing 4.3 burners crossing off the line we will see all season, I expect no correction, we don't do corrections. Apparently Blake does not either since the only audibles are rare and wrong and he gets so confused he burns timeouts like they grow on trees. The lack of killer instinct still exists on the coaching staff, we got down by 21 and there was no hurry up, no urgency or change of pace. We just keep plodding along.

So bottom line it was a team not ready to play, and coaches not ready to make corrections,  and both conditions fall on the bald guy.

Tell Hue Jackson we got all the talent he wants and he can bail on Cleveland.

I like Mike Smith, but he doesn't come off as the creative type that we need. We need someone who can adjust to the modern NFL.

The DC from Arizona is a guy I like.

Well who are we looking at for 2017?

I feel it's brilliant by Caldwell to select Gus. Khan told Dave he would be given two head coach selections. Gus was the placeholder cheerleader to infuse our youth with passion and Gus juice. Now that our players have grown and "matured", our players see the lack of Xs and Os and will work hard under the new coach who will instruct them on the fundamentals of football

I haven't seen any serious candidates. Coughlin will never come back. Marrone gives me gas. Patriot coordinators are no good unless they're stealing Belichick's cheatbook. After just two weeks into the season, not many news articles listing HC candidates for 2017 but Gus is already gone

Todd Haley ---- OC for the Steelers.    Big Ben is 5x better since Haley took over the OC position there.  He'd do wonders for our offense and fill out the defensive staff with a competent coaching staff !!

If we want to be serious:

Todd Haley

Sean McDermott

Josh McDaniels

Marrone (pass)

Sexy Rexy (pass)

Matt Patricia

Marvin Lewis (If the football gods fire him for losing in the playoffs again)

IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS
