Anybody catch Lageman this morning?

One thing to remember, the division could be won/lost in the last three games of the season.
All against division opponents. That is... if it isn't too far gone by then already.

0-4 --- he's done.
There is no way you can take this fanbase out of any playoff hope by October 2 and still keep your job. Quote:0-4 --- he's done. Not that I think Marrone is the answer, but it would be quite interesting to see if anything at all would change as far as preperation goes if Gus is ousted and Marrone given the reigns. Assuming they would have Marrone take over. It's actually a perfect way to do an on the job audition for next year.
An 0-4 start still gives an interim coach an opportunity to make a run at the playoffs. There is literally nothing to lose.

My guess is that Marrone spends as much time at home after practice working on how he would run the team as he spends doing his job under Bradley. He probably sees the writing on the wall and is going to be as prepared as possible to step in week 5.
Quote:if Marrone has solutions, he should be providing them like yesterday It isn't his job to provide HC solutions. Nor has it been asked of him I assume. Maybe he should've been just as prepared for the 6 head coaching interviews he apparently flunked.

Quote:Boselli and Prisco kind of talked about how its hard to just fire him because he is such a nice guy on Jaguars Monday. Unfortunately I kind of do feel that Gus will end up coaching the Jags longer then he should because of that exact thing. Unless he turns it completely around, and I haven't seen 1 single thing that says that is even possible, he will eventually be let go, but it will end up being later then it should have been. Heck, there are already plenty of fans who think he should already have been gone and I certainly can't blame them. It will be up to Shad and Dave as to when it finally happens, and not before then.
I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

Quote:The fact that shills of this organization are now getting concerned about Gus Bradley just proves how stupid it is to listen to those that Administrate the status quo. Quote:Gus Bradley should have never made it on the plane back from San Diego. That fool has taken enough money from this team. He should feel ashamed for what a a terrible representation of this organization he's portrayed. He's the worst coach in NFL history. He should be apologizing to the city and to its fans. Let it out Anchorman, let it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I survived the Gus Bradley Error.
Quote:Nah, it's better to just accuse him of being a homer and dismissing anything he has to say. He doesn't have a clue. Says the guy who's guilty of arguing with me about the lags and Dempsey on air argument last year, when you clearly and admittedly did not listen to it. Don't be a scum bag hypocrite.
The posts in this thread are so damn stupid I can't dumb down my brain to respond.

Quote:Denver had the #4 defense last year (#1 in yardage). It was their first year under Wade Phillips defense, which was a lot different than Jack Del Rio's defense the previous year. They were playing at the #4 level of defense right out of the box. They won their first six games, and on average gave up less points in those games than their season average. A player like Von Miller makes for a rare exception to the rule. For the most part, what I was saying holds true. Heck, look at the Raiders defense with their own new additions. Right now they're on pace to set a new league record for most yards allowed by a defense.

Quote:It's Mularkey and Gene Smith all over again.... everyone has to defend anyone associated with this team as long as possible... then after they are fired they want to look back and say how awful they were.If Bradley is 'insanely bad' as a HC, then what does that say about Dave Caldwell who hired him? Quote:If Bradley is 'insanely bad' as a HC, then what does that say about Dave Caldwell who hired him? On paper looking at him from Seattle, it was a decent decision. Honestly Dave got a players coach that would take the blame for the rebuild, and stay positive while doing it. Now he hires the coach that will get us wins, it was planned and he's a genius. |
