Quote:This. Man what a difference coaching can make.

Agreed. BB is my go to example when I argue with someone about the Jags talent. He could probably make it to the SB several years in a row.

Insurmountable lead here. Game over. I feel a pick 6

Quote:Pats might have 2 legitimate NFL QBs in Jimmy G and Brissett. Interesting to see why they do or who they trade over the next year or two.
I think its the coaches understanding the strengths and weaknesses of their players - and call plays to compliment that (unlike some other team that we love in a masochistic way).

It's their system and how they adapt their system to the players they have to plug in. What I would do to have just a competent coaching staff… Ugh.

Quote:Like it's really going to matter for the Jags as long as Gus is HC.

Maybe a miracle happens. I give up on gus, but not on the team.

I hate Hopkins, but that was a great catch...  Man, it just makes me realize how little our receivers and QB have progressed from last year.  Really frustrating to watch other teams get better and we just stay sucky.

Quote:Why didn't the jags run a bootleg wth Blake against GB on 4th and 1

Well, the Jags didn't have any TOs for one thing, but after seeing what they did run, I would have rather seen just about anything else.

I wouldn't mind seeing a few more bootlegs at key moments during a game myself, though.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

Even more amazing is that Brissett was prepared to start on a short week. Ugh we need a good coaching staff.

You realize that both those QB's under other coaching staffs would be washed out of the league in 2 years.

Shotgun spread offense, empty backfield, let Blake do his thing, vanilla cover 2 zone bend dont break, we'd be 2-0

I wouldn't trust Cyprien playing the 1/2 deep zone, but other than that, I agree.

Jimmy G has played fine, wayyyy too early to judge Brissett. Josh McDaniels makes a lot of QB's look good, McDaniels is a brilliant mind

Gus has ruined the team.  That's what alot of people don't realize.  His mentality, his lack of intensity, his lack of properly holding players accountable, and his lack of passion to win has made the team soft.

You don't just get that back in a week, or even a season.  Gus has slowly made this team exactly what he is.  A soft served cupcake.

As a Jags fan we need a Patriots victory. It is doing something very bad to me pulling for the Pats. I don't like it at all.
