Tulsa Shooting

Quote:Because it wasn't premeditated or she didn't conceal the crime.

To be honest she shouldn't be held accountable at all.

I disagree with you here.  She absolutely should be held accountable, but that doesn't/shouldn't include prison time.

Quote:The pig was indicted. As she should have been. That's how our justice system should work. I hope she frys like bacon. But right now, she's just indicted and must stand trail and face justice.

That's how it works.

It's good to see that worthless pig facing charges. I hope the prosecution does a good job for the family of the victims of this pig.

Sarcasm

Thats not how the justice system works!!!!

She made an error in judgment while working in one of the most dangerous jobs. In Oklahoma, 1st degree manslaughter carries a maximum sentence of 4 years. She doesn't deserve that. In her career how many lives did she possibly save?

I was being sarcastic, but this response is why law enforcement will never be trusted by the public.

Minimum sentence for manslaughter is 4 years in Oklahoma.  If found guilty that pig will be in jail for at least that long.  Hopefully the inmates she is in prison with will make her squeal too.

She made an error in judgement and accidentally killed someone. She deserves to lose her job but not face jail time.

No.  Let's indict pigs when we find them.  And then we try pigs and fry 'em (metaphorically) when they are found guilty.  That in a nut shell is how these things work for regular folks.  Police officers shouldn't be above the law.  And pigs should absolutely not be above the law.

You trumpettes say you believe in law and the constitution.  But have no idea how it works!  Sad...

If an aircraft mechanic makes a lapse in judgment and people die in a plane crash, the mechanic goes to jail.

Quote:Whoa. You have a lot of pent-up hatred towards law enforcement for being a privileged white male. Have you seen your shrink lately?

TAM has a thing for pigs as well as a "thing" for police officers in uniform.  My guess is that during his "first time" he squealed like a pig.

"A great deal" of police confidence is around 52% right now, so roughly half the country feel that way. Same rate as in '93, interestingly enough. it was highest in '04 over the past 25 years. To say they are "never trusted" is a bit of a stretch.

Police confidence has dropped significantly though since the King took office. Thanks Obama.

Ohh another homosexually implied insult!!!  How original.  I've noticed that you never actually discuss topics but just insult me.  It's a clear indication that you have no real argument, but merely childish insults because you realize you can't debate me on the topics anymore.

Carry on.  I'm so hurt about all the attacks about my sexuality, you really cut to the core...   Rolleyes

Is that how you think the Constitution works?  Is that how you think our Justice System works?

Absolutely.  She should also get some kind of sentence that involves community service (imagine that) along with probation.  The bottom line is, she is not a criminal.  There is no way that she should or will be convicted of first degree manslaughter.

Yeah, C'mon. TAM just likes to incite violence, not actually participate.

I'm not out for blood.  I'm just calling it like I see it.  This was a bad cop.  A pig.  And she deserves to be indicted.  I think manslaughter is the right call...  She deserves to be indicted and stand trail.  She's a pig that killed an unarmed man.
