Bortles lost this game

Quote:I love how people are so quick to jump one way or another on Bortles but some people defended Gus and the coaching while they sucked it up for years.

I want to see Bortles and this team with better coaching.

I'm a huge Bortles fan, but he's playing wild. Ultimately, he's gotta make the plays to win.

This loss isn't all on Bortles, but damn did he play a role.

Quote:His line did him no favors today. He moved within the pocket numerous times today but you conveniently ignore those plays, or the two touchdowns he threw that even kept us in this game.

Blake probably has had the cleanest pocket he's had in any game he's played today and he couldn't win against himself.

There's no way to tell if Bortles clear regression is because he's just not an NFL franchise QB, or if it's because he's the victim of bad coaching.  I'm inclined to say that BB deserves to have a chance with another coaching staff before we write him off.

Not even. The announcers even commented how many times he had to move in the pocket to make his throws

Not in the 4th quarter. He got instantly in several situations, then there was the tip for the int.

Not until late in the game. And whose to blame for running into sacks? Or not throwing the ball away? Gus?
