The only college coach I'd hire is Gary Patterson the TCU HC.

Plays an innovative defense, is tough as nails and has extremely high standards.

Still prefer someone who has coached in the NFL at HC before though.

I'd take a David Shaw, Les Miles, Jimbo Fisher, Nick Saban type of coach.

Coughlin came from BC and was disciplined.

I just can't be excited for a Todd haley. Or Josh McDaniels type of guy.

Quote:Agreed. I'll take anyone except a Pats coordinator.

Its not smart business. Its all Bill over there. Always has been.

In other news.  Jack Del Rio is 2-1.

No coach with a losing record, please.

Nobody from the poisoned Belichick tree either.

Maybe Rick Dennison.  He did pretty well in Houston, and then he's doing pretty well in Denver.  If Coughlin won't/doesn't come back, I'd consider him for a first time HC job.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

I can't think of any head coaches with a good track record that would come here.

Quote:Matt Patricia from the Patriots looks nice.

The problem with him, is it his defense or Belichick's? They should certainly take a look. I also like,

1. Sean McDermott

2. Pep Hamilton

3. Todd Haley

4. Tom Clements

The only coach in college worth going after is Harbaugh. I do like David Shaw, but I don't know how he would translate to the Pro game.
No commercial messages in sigs

Why do you guys like Haley?

Yes he's awesome at dialing up plays...but is he a culture change?

I like Sean McDermott and Todd Haley. Only college coach I like would be Jim Harbaugh.

If you're one who thinks Bradley's attitude is part of the problem, Haley's demeanor is the exact opposite.

Yes he would be a culture change. Haley is pretty no nonsense.

1. Crenell

2. Wise

3. Daniels

4. O'Brien

5. Mangini

6. Saban (pro ball)

It's all Belichick

Well then I'm on the Haley train. If he will get in the players face mask and coach them during the game instead of bending over on his knees, then I'm all for Haley.

I agree with getting someone with experience and success as head coach.  Coughlin at 200 years old is better than the ice cream party we have today.  The team lacks discipline. Maybe some good old fashion old school hard knocks coaching could improve this team.   I don't care if they like him, I want them to win.

Harbaugh or McDaniels

I am a fan, not a cheerleader.

Bradley should resign today.

I would love to have Tom back.

What a story book ending.
