Fire Gus Bradley (MERGED)

Let's not forget that Sean McDermott is the same guy Gus was when we hired him.

Quote:Matt Patricia from the Patriots looks nice.
or Josh McDaniels.  Dude is a monster offensive coordinator.  He is getting it done with or without Brady.

In other news Brien Boddy-Calhoun had a pick 6 for the Browns.

Yes he's awesome at dialing up plays...but is he a culture change?
I don't like Haley. I keep seeing people mention experienced coaching. Haley is the only one to me so he is on the list. My favorites are Pete Carmichael or Tom Clements. Carmichael has been so good for so long. He deserves a shot.

Quote:If you are hoping a coaching change this early will save the season you are sadly mistaken. Likely, the interim guy won't be much better for obvious reasons. You will have to wait until next year. I know that sucks. That is reality.
It is going to be hard to save the season with a new HC but the losing culture has to be stopped. The longer it drags on the more difficult it is to fix.

Quote:The only coach in college worth going after is Harbaugh. I do like David Shaw, but I don't know how he would translate to the Pro game.

He runs a pro-style system at Standford and is a disciple of both Harbaugh and Jon Gruden. Also I firmly believe he'd command the respect of the players the day he steps foot in the locker room .

Yeah him too. Someone from a winning organization, preferably not rah rah like Gus.

Coughlin was with Parcells before he was with BC, but Coughlin is done. If he came here he would want to bring his own assistants with him and that ain't happening mid season. The only viable option to remotely save this season is promote someone already on the staff who can instill discipline within the team and manage a game clock.

LOL this season is lost and the new HC would come at the end of the year, not right now.

I like Pete Carmichael.  I also like Rick Dennison.  Kubiak says he's a great teacher, and he seems to know both sides of the ball.  He's also been described as a Quiet Genius.  Kinda surprised he hasn't had a shot yet at being HC.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Marrone was 9-7 with Kyle Orton (iirc) at QB. Give him a shot. Please.

Wait, he has been coaching? I just thought, for the past 51 games, he has been standing on the sideline looking stupid.

I've been saying this too. I'd throw a pile of money at him and beg if I had to.

Should have been Hue Jackson last year.

Why wait to fire bradley? It's too risky to let him coach another game just in case we blow out the Colts and gives a reason to keep him. So what if our interim coach doesn't have enough time to implement his system. We're screwed either way. Can bradley and get this rebuild going
