If I was this bad at my job i would have been fired a long time ago, and I work for the government!

To see someone of khans stature unable to realize that something is clearly wrong is bothersome
Caldwell has brought in some talent, great drafts is praised by the league the media... but he still has not pulled the line with gus what gives?
I just can't even watch this team any more. My love of football is dead. Completely and entirely dead.
So tired of watching other teams turn it around in less than a year. So tired of our players playing like garbage here and playing great in other places, or all-pros coming here and being average. This team has talent, but has nobody to develop them or put them in a position to succeed. If Gus isn't fired this week, I'm not watching another week of football until he is. This is unacceptable and disgusting.
Fear of being wrong. Gus is such a nice guy too! They chat on the phone every Tuesday night.
All khan cares about is superficial junk, big scoreboards, swimming pools, fancy club seats, ampitheater, all that really matters is building a winning team.

" Unable to realize? "
I seriously doubt that. They had a plan - They stuck to it - It failed. They are aware. The only question is whether Khan/Caldwell wait to get a new coach in there or if they go with an interim guy after the bye.
He has excelled at the business side of things football, making deals and having the vision to see things most of us never thought of.
Everything is falling into place....except the "football" side of things. I promise he will revisit this issue....and there will be results.
Because Jaguars is our mantra

I just can't get over how pitiful the mods are on this board, I can't figure which is worse, this miserable team or these miserable mods
Quote:Because the bye week gives the interim coach an additional week to enact the changes they desire. By my math, waiting until next week gives the interim coach one less week to enact changes. The playbook is not going to change, only the culture and who plays when, so what needs two weeks to prepare? Gus has too many weaknesses to be a good coach in the league. He's won 12 in 51 games. He would have to win 28 games in a row to have a winning record. Meaning 13 games this season, and the first 15 games next season.
How many games it took each Jag coach to reach 12 wins: Tom Coughlin: 31 games (with an expansion team) (38% winning) Jack Del Rio: 30 games (40% winning) Mike Mularkey: N/A Gus Bradley: 46 games (26% winning) How long it took each coach for the Jags to make it to over .500: Tom Coughlin: 49 games Jack Del Rio: 44 games Mike Mularkey: N/A Gus Bradley: 51 games and counting And each coach's record at 51 games: Tom Coughlin: 27-24 (53%) Jack Del Rio: 28-23 (55%) Mike Mularkey: N/A Gus Bradley: 12-39 (23%)
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Khan may be crazy like a fox. Dave Caldwell has accumulate a ton of young talent, Jack, Ramsey, Fowler, Linder, etc. In order to get that "last" high draft pick, you need a totally inept HC like Gus Bradley.
Maybe this is all part of the "plan" and "next" year is when Shad brings in a real coaching staff??? |
