Notice the wobbling of that interception pass? You're welcome.

Why don't people just start posting "Please can we get X QB - I want the Jags to remain mediocre"....

Because by not wanting Bridgewater, thats all people are really saying.

None of these other QB, bar Jameis Winston has a chance to be better than Bridgewater in the pro's.

I have been discussing his arm strength issues. That pass that was intercepted was slow and wobbly. If you rifle passes like that it dramatically decreases the chance of it being picked because the defender has less time to react and it's more difficult for him to catch.

If you don't understand this I can't help you.

Bortles reminds me more of Dalton than Ponder or Locker.  Although his arm could be a little less than Dalton's... which isnt a compliment.

Looks like he falls back on some throws.  wonder if he could get some better zip on the ball with better mechanics.

We can talk about another qb prospect. Chill.

He actually has pretty good arm mechanics. Always has a good high release point. That is also part of his problem. If you don't have a strong arm you will float/loft passes with a good high arm release. He would almost be better off short arming passes.

It would be like if Mike Trout were going to be available in baseball, saying.....well nahh....I;m not interested, I'd rather go after this Jordan Schaefer did, he could be really good!

smh @ some Jags fans who seemingly don't want the "best" at QB.

It's the ones who want random Florida QBs because they are playing in Florida. It's a stupid reason to want a QB.

Especially when the best QB in the nation...is a Florida kid also.

It was more in reference to the "you're welcome." I understand what I'm watching just fine.

The "you're welcome" was in reference to an earlier post by myself.

Am I missing something? No one is saying take him over Teddy. This is the "College Football" section where you know, we talk about college football players.

It's not an indication that one is not interested in Bridgewater because they're watching a game and talking about a different QBs performance.

we should draft more than one QB.  Bridgewater isnt an Andrew Luck type prospect.

It was mentioned in other threads passing on someone like Teddy and taking a guy like Bortles in a later round. Which is an awful idea.

But yes, this is a thread to discuss Blake and no one here has mentioned that we should draft him.

Probably one of the closests we have seen in a long time.

I've mentioned it jokingly because I'm a UCF homer. Yes, it would be dumb to choose a lesser qb.

I think he's a lot closer to that type of prospect than many people give him credit for.

And even if he's not Andrew Luck, Bridgewater would still be the best QB prospect in the last 20 years not named Luck.

Last 20 years? You do realize guys like Manning came out within 20 years right?  I would safely say 10 years though.

OOps, I actually forgot Manning was pre 20 years....he's just seems to have been playing forever...haha.

Obviously, I mean post Manning.

I think Bridgewater is a better prospect than the rest since Manning was drafted....better prospect than Ben & Aaron. Now, obviously doesn't necessarily mean he'll be better pro than those 2, - I think he will be at least as good, but as a prospect, I think Bridgewater is better now than where those 2 were at this point.

Do you even read bro? Nobody in this thread said draft him. I think everyone agrees Bridgewater is the clear #1. Chillax man.
