Quote:I agree, but who's the other obvious cut if it's not Gratz? Do they dump Walters again?

There's only so few places they could go with the cut.

Gotta be Gratz after what we saw Johnson do. I said it in preseason: Gratz was only retained because Colvin had to be removed from the roster for four weeks. That is more clear now because of what Johnson did.

Quote:Johnson made some good plays today. I remember in preseason he did the same thing. He plays with a lot of heart.

He's my new sleeper. Kind of like Corey Grant is Jags02's sleeper.
Yea I love seeing guys who earn a roster spot in the preseason and then show up in the regular season, good kid

Benn plays on Special Teams though, which is why they cut Walters instead of him for the Ravens game.

Benn also seems to get a couple chances on Offense, where I really haven't seen Walters in on Offense at all yet.

Google.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Highest graded player today, albeit in limited snaps.

Wow I love the 18 pressures stat.

Definitely not Benn. He is a very important player on special teams. I don't remember seeing him drop any balls today.

Eric: Coaches used Walters on offense last year after we signed him. He looked good to me. I was disappointed we cut him.

He did drop a pass today, but Gratz is the one that should get cut

Obviously. Gratz is our worst cornerback.

Gratz is bad, but PS players end up there because they are worse than anybody who makes the final 53.

Yeah I think Gratz is definitely the odd man out. I'd like to see Ramsey and Amukamara as the 2 starting Cb's going forward and Colvin at the Nickle. Josh Johnson can spell Amukamara some too. Davon House has been noticeably the worse defensive player on Jags over the last 3 games.

So you are saying Gratz wont get cut?

I am saying Gratz is not the worst player because we have a 10-man practice squad.

Of course Gratz will get cut.

Josh is one of the few cbs we have had in the last few years that has shown an actual ability to break on the ball. He still has to show more. He will be on the team after the bye. Maybe we have a sleeper cb on our hands boys.

Benn also ran out of bounds when the Jags were trying to run out the clock. I'm no fan of Gratz, but Benn is just as bad.

Benn was filling in at TE.  He did pretty well blocking.
