Hey, I take my internet points where I can get 'em!

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

Yeah, and I don't give out internet points very often.

Quote:The burden of proof lies with those asserting that A particular deity exists.

No. The burden of proof less with those making assertions, whether those assertions are that a god exists, or that a god doesn't.

You're embarrassing yourself with your borrowed and logically flawed arguments, and you're doing it in the wrong place - can we keep the football in here, the politics in the politics forum, and the religious arguments off the board entirely?

If you want to be schooled on these matters (on Sunday or otherwise) feel free to take it to PM.

Quote:Check out OBJ. Now, I'm not saying that Ramsey is going to be like that but OBJ is carrying around a whole lot more weight now that folks have found how to push his buttons. That's extra work that he has to do in order to be effective on the field.

Of course, the real question is whether Ramsey can push buttons without having his own pushed back. It's about how well he can take it, not how much he gives it out. That makes him more of a target, but if it's water off a duck's back to him, it makes no difference.

While I agree completely with this statement, and most of your stance in this whole thread, I just prefer threads about Ramsey to be about his play, not his beliefs.

Religion and politics. Two things that should never be openly discussed between people.

But to touch on your point, he was quoting a tweet/quote from Ramsey himself. In no way did the OP himself say anything about religion, but you came out of the gate with your cynical view on religion. So to be fair, you started this debate.
You either die as a good poster, or live long enough to become the troll.

I'm by no means defend Brumerica, but...'God given talent' definitely has a religious context to it.

I personally don't care either way, this thread has just been pointless derailed.

Ramsey is good. Best cornerback we've had in a long time, if he wants to trash talk - as long as he can back it up let him.

Quote:There's definitely a modern, media driven perception that the great players talk a lot of trash.   Definitely not true.  One example that comes to mind is Marvin Harrison.

He didn't talk trash, he just killed people in his Philly neighborhood.

Ramsey is a beast. Love his trash talk and he's backing it up with his play. He'll be a top corner in the league by the end of the year/early next year.

He's already a top CB in the league.

Let him do him. This team has been crying out for a guy like Ramsey for years. He's the real deal.
