Worse than any team Gene Smith fielded

LT: Beachum and Monroe is a wash.

LG: I actually blanked on our weakness here, but Rackley was arguably just as bad.

C: Linder is an elite center and Meester was an average starter.

RB: I agreed with you here.

TE: Julius Thomas and Marcedes Lewis is better than Lewis and Zach Potter.

DT: Malik Jackson and Roy Miller are easily better than Terrance Knighton and Tyson Alualu. Current depth is better too.

MLB: It's still Poz and he's playing good football this season.

OLB: Telvin Smith is playing very good football just like Daryl Smith was and I'd say Jack/Skuta is better than Allen/Session.

FS: Tashaun Gipson is better than Dwight Lowery.

K: I agreed with you here.

Re-read you post and tell me we've seen substational approvement in four years of developing this roster?

If in four years where just as good or slightly better than the worse roster this team ever saw, what the [BLEEP] are you guys defending!?!?!

If anyone truly doesn't think the talent on our roster is leagues beyond what it was four years ago, I don't know what to tell you.

Pick a different sport?

You know the difference here? Gus.

You're not seeing the full potential of this team yet.

Maybe you should re read your own thread you created.

They are defending the fact that the roster isn't worse than what Gene Smith fielded like you said.

Quote:Look I'm happy with a win doesn't change the reality this roster is void of talent top to bottom. Very few positions for we have better player than at the end of 2011. Next year we get a new coach but if it's more of the same you'll have to admit the problems deeper than most want to admit.

Really?

You'd take the 2011 roster over this roster?

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Offense:

Blake Bortles>Blaine Gabbert

Allen Robinson>Jason Hill

Allen Hurns>Mike Thomas

Marqise Lee>Jarrett Dillard

Julius Thomas>Marcedes Lewis

Brandon Linder>Brad Meester

AJ Cann>Uche Nwaneri

Jermey Parnell>Guy Whimper

Defense:

Yannick Ngakoue>Jeremey Mincey

Roy Miller>Terrance Knighton

Malik Jackson>Tyson Alualu

Jared Odrick>Matt Roth

Myles Jack>Russell Allen

Jalen Ramsey>Rashean Mathis

Prince Amukamara>Derek Cox

Tashaun Gipson>Dwight Lowery

Special Teams:

Brad Nortman>Matt Turk

Rashad Greene>Mike Thomas

That doesn't include any of the substantially better depth we have now either. On pure talent, this team is miles ahead of our rosters under Gene Smith.

Fail of a thread. We could easily be 3-2... even 4-1! Young team, though.
Shock the world

As of right now? Yes. Both Beachum and Monroe were solid starters, though I think Beachum will continue to improve as we get further away from his ACL tear.

#56

Wow.

That is all.

Oh ewwww thanks for reminding me about Matt Turk. Completely erased him from my mind.
You either die as a good poster, or live long enough to become the troll.

What a crybaby thread.

Now, this is where he goes all maddog and realizes he is ridiculous but gets entrenched in a hilarious post.

AJ Cann>Uche Nwaneri

I lol'd. Honestly the only 2 places this team is still lacking is coaching and QB. That is literally it. Yes every team has needs, every team, even the SB winner has needs. But with a competent coach and even just a top 15 QB this team would be 4-1.
