I'm with JW on this one.  Pots & kettles cannot talk, therefore a pot cannot call a kettle black.  Plus, not all pots and kettles are black...that's borderline racism.

Have you seen my baseball?

That's why the black kettles matter!

Such an interesting match up for so many reasons.

Raiders are 3rd best in the league in yards per rushing attempt. Will be a great test to see where the defense is at in terms of run defense. Cyp has played pretty good the past 2 games and he is a big part of the run defense, so I expect to see him in many plays. I think we will probably see much more of Myles Jack in this game too, and hoping he has some big plays on the run D. Jalen Ramsey will be lined up against Cooper who is 4th in the NFL in yards right now with 585, another big test for the rookie. Crabtree has been a touchdown machine and is tied for #1 in NFL with 5 TDs, Amukamara will be on him. Maybe in goal line situations they switch Jalen on Crab?

On the flip side the Raiders defense is atrocious giving up league leading 445 yds/game. Perfect time to get the offense going. Was surprised to see who the leading tackler was on the Raiders. Reggie Nelson! I know we all remember the constant whiffs he had while in a Jags uni. We also get to see Karl Joseph, who I know I remember seeing many posters wanting this guy.

Seems like an excellent match up on paper. Really looking forward to this one. Hopefully the Jags can stop the run, or it'll be a long day.

The important question:  Will JDR wear his suit?

I would rather see Ramsey on Crabtree, especially in the red zone. Is he officially going to cover Cooper?

Statistics don't tell you Nelson dropped off a cliff in Oakland. He is not as good as he was in Cincinnati.

I am not saying he is playing good. He has been bad, like the entire defense. What I said is he is leading the team in tackles, and it is surprising. For one he is a safety, and two he is a terrible tackler.

Crabtree is a threat in the red zone, which is why I posed the question maybe they switch in the red zone. Cooper has 220 more yards than Crab, but they are both targeted frequently. Cooper is their #1 though, and I would imagine Ramsey is on him but I have no crystal ball.

That tackle stat indicates problems stopping the run. Safeties caught looking in the backfield are vulnerable to playaction.

Quote:win or lose, next thursday vs the titans is going to be the biggest game of the season so far.
If we beat Indy this Sunday, that Thursday night game in Nashville will be rocking.  Titans could be 4-3 with the chance to go 5-3 and possibly be at the top of the AFCS depending on what the Texans do against the Broncos.

We learned in the Sunday School who made the sun shine through.  I know who made the moonshine too, back where I come from.

What's weird is the media acts like Crabtree is the #1 guy in Oakland.

One game at a time. Let's  go out and beat the Raiders. If we do that, there is no reason we can't win in Nashville.

Didn't need to be fixed.  I'm not a Jags fan, and if the Jags win on Sunday, they will be 3-3, not 4-3.

So he is being silly by posting on a Jaguars forum.

Of course it's one game at a time, how can we play two at a time? There wouldn't be enough room in the locker room, not enough toilets, not enough gatorade cups to go around.
