The #2 in the country shouldn't lose to Penn St.

 

Michigan beat Penn St. 49-10 (was 49-3 until a garbage TD at the end of the game) and was #3.

You can have your point of view, no one is denying you that. But you do have a tendency to call every top team that loses overrated, so you can expect people to say the same thing to you when your team loses.

Not that it matters but I would put Mich at #3 behind Bama and Louisville. I know Lou has a lose to Clemson buuut I still think they are top 2. Mich just hasn't played anyone that great yet,Colorado is ok with there QB and Wisconsin is good but they didn't convincingly win that game so just for that I'd say #3.

The only way Louisville makes it to CFP is if they get help from someone, say Clemson vs FSU and FSU wins right, since they're in the same division as Clemson?

Michigan did absolutely crush a ranked Penn St. team 49-10. Not that Penn St. is "good", but they are in the AP top 25 now.

 

On thing Michigan doesn't have is a close game with a bad team. Louisville does (Duke), Clemson does (Troy and N.C. State), and Washington does (Arizona).

 

 

 

A crazy stat that I just read is that Michigan is the only team to give every one of their opponents their worst loss of the season.

 

Hawaii - 60 point win, next biggest loss by 19 to Arizona

UCF - 37 point win, next biggest loss by 6 to Maryland

Colorado - 17 point win, next biggest (and only other) loss by 4 to USC

Penn State - 39 point win, next biggest (and only other) loss by 3 to Pitt

Wisconsin - 7 point regulation win, other loss in OT by 7 to OSU (giving us the regulation tiebreaker here)

Rutgers - 78 point win, next biggest loss by 58 to OSU

Illinois - 33 point win, next biggest loss by 25 to UNC
