Is anyone going to watch the next game?

#61

I've been a fan of this team since before it existed. I'll watch every game no matter how ugly things might get. That's what fans do. I'm as frustrated as anyone with this team. Doesn't mean I'm going to abandon my loyalties. Sorry.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Yeah I gotta watch the whole game too..

Way too many firework explosions happen during these games. I'm waiting to see if a player clocks Gus in the jaw on the sideline or if Bortles literally drops his drawers and takes a squat mid field..

If the play doesn't amuse ya, lots of other things do..

I personally do NOT want the Jags to win another game.  What would be the point?  Worse draft position?  We aren't a playoff team, we aren't a good team, we aren't a mediocre team.  Heck, we aren't even a bad team. We're flat out awful.  May as well try and get the next Carson Wentz in the draft next year.

I won't be going out of my way to watch anymore games this season, but I will be watching it in the background because there is still interest.  Can Fowler develop as a pass rusher and stop committing stupid penalties?  Can Ramsey become that shutdown corner and mature as a player?  Can Myles Jack develop?

The sad thing is - by keeping Gus this team is actually losing the rest of the season to see if some of these players are worth keeping around for the next regime.

I will be watching. Along with every game the jaguars play from now until the day I die. I'm just that kind of fan. I don't agree with a lot of the decisions being made. And I'm disappointed with how poorly they are playing. But i couldn't imagine ever not watching the Jags on Sunday.

This is what I have been telling forum members for over 10 years, more so now than ever. If you are a Jaguars fan, this is what you do. The only thing that will prevent me from watching games is a vacation that unfortunately must be in late November for reasons outside my control. I believe this season is a test for all Jaguars fans to determine who they really are.

Yes.

Quote:Yes.  I will be watching it - and every game after.  Through thick and thin.  It sucks being so bad and especially for so long but that's the breaks.  I love the Jags and they are my team and they will always be my team.
In case you're interested, I'm going to start a support group for people with severe masochism. I'll be watching the Chiefs game, too.

How will you do that?

Quote:You can still get emotionally involved and remain passionate. Do you want the team to win? Do you want the players to perform much better than they did 24 hours ago? If so, your emotion and passion are still there.

I will always desire for them to win, and will enjoy when they do.

However, I will not be emotional or passionate (win or lose) the remainder of this season.

Life goes on and is too short to worry about the remainder of a single season.  I've got healthier, more precious things to spend my emotions and passions on.

In the end, all we do is watch.  Whatever happens with the Jags won't impact my family tree.  The things I do outside watching the Jags will, though.  Perspective is key.

1-4 has become a nice time for a Sunday afternoon nap. I'll watch the first couple drives. That will usually tell me how the game is going to go. If Blake still looks lost I'll just take a nap instead. So I fully expect to be well rested next Sunday
10 years ago we had Bob Hope, Johnny Cash, and Steve Jobs..... Please don't die, Kevin Bacon.

I cannot see how it is possible to want the team to win and enjoy the few wins we get, but not get emotional about it. Enjoying a win is being emotional.

Of course there are many more important things than football. That goes without saying. Unfortunately not everyone has better things to do than watch the Jaguars.

Should be especially hard for you since you supported everything Bradley did longer than anyone.

Tried to blame last year on the defense....

Seriously... Jags are not making the playoffs so does it even matter? I'm going to watch every game but I honestly don't care about the outcome anymore. If we beat the Titans at home, who cares?

It easily could have been better than the Raiders game. Never give up.

I will sit on my couch, grab my remote and turn on the game. My eyes will be facing the television.

Oh, I get it now. My first sentence was meant to be sarcastic.
