Denard didn't do [BLEEP] except turn the ball over.

<p class="">As I put in blog, striking Thursday night how Bortles-Olson sideline interaction was non-existent. Henne would shuttle between the two.

And get stuffed on goal line plays. That was reportedly the main reason we signed Chris Ivory.

Exactly.

This doesn't fix the problem, but the fact it was looking like nothing was going to happen after that pathetic effort on Thursday makes me feel like there's at least a chance to change/improve something on that side of the ball. This was needed if we weren't going to fire Gus after the game.

He gained significantly more yardage per attempt than Yeldon or Ivory, so saying it is impossible to run still remains a lie. Did he turn the ball over yes, but that doesn't take away the fact he put yards up. That's why I'm 100% onboard with Fournette or Cook round 1.

I saw that as well. If anything this should have been done weeks ago. No telling how much damage has been done to Bortles.

I am beginning to wonder if Gus Bradley lied about not planning any coaching changes to avoid talking about it.

This wasn't a move by Bradley. This was a move by Khan.

He said there will be no coaching changes the day before firing a coach. Do you think he would change his mind in only 24 hours?

Quote:Khan needs to play HellsKitchen with the remaining staff, whittling them down weekly to find the one worth bringing back next year to interview for a job in 2017.

Might keep the whole staff on their toes for the next 9 weeks.

I got to where I hated when the tv camera showed olson looking at his play card for another play after one that  didn't work. I thought...."What are you looking at that for.....you call the same play most every time....the whole league knows what we're going to do."

One thing for sure....things will either get better or ....god forbid....worse.  At least its a move.

It's called coach speak. Believe it or not coaches don't always tell you what they really have planned.

No HC change, I don't think he went into detail saying the OC was saying. I mean he started out what he was saying with "Actions speak louder than words."

Saying he will not fire anyone is a lie if he already decided to fire someone. Period.

Yes, coach speak is usually lying or at least hiding the truth.
