Malik Jackson getting in on the fans now

#41

What a punk. Him Arob Telvin (not sure if I missed anyone) get their butts whooped and they have the nerve to call out the fans??

Try not getting humiliated week in and week out.

Shad needs to get rid of this culture and it starts with firing Gus.

see what I'm saying... Khan is allowing ALL OF THIS... how many idiot players are going to call out the fans?? REALLY? THE FANS? the least of this franchise's worries is the fans.

It's all spiraling out of control... and Khan sits back, with his actions speak louder than words idealogy, and performs ZERO actions.  Jags are on the move, eventually

We're worse than the Browns as an organization. At least their players respect the fans that allow them to be millionaires.

Imagine if Khans employees at the auto parts factory started calling out customers...

Quote:What about getting thrown out of the game and not hanging out with teammates after the game? Is that chaos? Would the Patriots do that? How's that sit with Gus as a head coach? Gus doesn't seem to care as to letting the inmates Odrick, Malik, and Ramsey do whatever they want even though they give up 30 points per game.

This team lacks so much leadership it's not even funny.
That makes him an undisciplined idiot.  His comments only further that viewpoint.

How's it sit with Gus?  I think it sends a message that Gus doesn't have control of this locker room, or the respect of some of his players.  Nothing is going to change about that for the time being.  It is what it is.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

The next home game is gonna be so much fun.

A 2-6 team with a 14-42 head coach and players taking shots at fans.

OH BOY.

This is why the idea of Coughlin potentially coming back is so enticing for more than nostalgic reasons.

To me, this is another reason Gus needs to go. Our team has no accountability; but they talk about it all the time...... If I was on this team, I would be agreeing 100% with the fans and saying, "they're right! We stink! I wouldn't want to show up either!"......

Exactly.  Some "fans" around here need a safe space.

Was at the game and there was a lot of raider fans.

I have a solution, if people don't like what the players are saying then show up and support the team, or in this case "boo" them.
Whether someone has a liberal, or conservative viewpoint, a authoritative figure should not lock a thread for the sole purpose to get the last word in all the while prohibiting someone else from being able to respond.

That's a much better solution.  For "fans" to cry about comments a player makes regarding what he SEES and HEARS at a game means nothing.

Quote:I heard him say the same. He sounded disappointed that there were more Oakland fans making noise than the Jags fans. It wasn't meant to be a slight.

I do however find it interesting how things get taken out of proportion by a certain segment of this board.

Agree.

The OP created the thread and got his expected reactions.

Players have it really easy in Jax. If they are this sensitive to criticism wait until they play somewhere like NY or Philly.

No one likes to get booed, but Jax is probably the most welcoming city you could play in. Heck, even our reporters go easy on the players. Imagine what headline the NY Post would run after 90 million dollar man Malik played poorly, got kicked out of a game for acting like a child, then acted like a victim because the fans weren't impressed.

Fans are thin skinned? We are fans that support this team financially. We shouldn't even have to worry being thin-skinned about anything. It's more about players of a team that we love, make bush league comments about its fans, and the general feeling that the fans are being taken for granted. We have endured two straight regimes with ZERO results, and there's a very realistic chance that we are in line for another regime and another 3 years of REBUILDING with a new QB.

Tell me: What other respectful company allows its employees to take shots at it's MOST LOYAL customers directly?
