Quote:Malik Jackson spit in your coffee?

Wow.. Better go get checked for Hepatitis C.. That's a 1000 worse than The Jags just playing bad football and running off at the mouth..

Drama Queen.

Something tells me you aren't a season ticket holder.

Not anymore. When work and gameday collide, work wins, hands down.

And regardless, my point remains. Don't like it? Quit going to games. But to compare players running off at the mouth and some kid spitting in my coffee is a [BLEEP] comparison.

There were a ton of Raider fans there. In a bunch of the sections is really did seem like they outnumbered the Jag fans.

Malik can say this. Any fan can say it as well.

Put on the big boy pants and move on.

This is not a Jacksonville only item.  The stadium here in Dallas has tons of opposing fans every week.  Dallas has businesses here relocating from other states so you get other team's fans living here.  There were tons of eagles fans in the building its just Dallas won so it isn't a big deal.

Winning is an amazing curative.  In fighting is reduced and the fan base is appeased.

Fans deserve better. Thanks for all the good times too many are in the past.

Personally, I don't care what he says, I care what he does.

But I live in Virginia so as some have pointed out, I'm not going to the games spending $200 every week. That's probably about how much I spend on Jags gear yearly, not weekly.

To be honest, my fandom benefits the liquor store more financially than it does the Jags organization.

"I'm a bigger fan because I go to games!"

So stupid.

It's not about who's the better fan, and that's totally not the point in any of my posts. Telvin, Allen, and Malik are specifiically talking about the fans that go to the games. That's why it's easier for the fans that aren't going to the games to dismiss their comments, because they aren't directing their shots at you.

I get it and I don't think of you as a 'lesser' fan. I am just saying that I feel put off by all of these entitled player's comments, because they are geared to the fans that are at the games, and I am one of them. Maybe those in this thread who are more casual about what Malik said, are also the ones that typically don't go to the games.

I don't see how my analogy is off. We pay to see a competitve product. We don't get what we pay for. We show our displeasure. And we actually semi-blamed for it being what we paid for. It's asinine.

I've gone through so much losing with this organization, and while that has caused much disappointment, this may be the first time I've actually be put off by Jaguars. It's sad.

To get to the point, you're paying to watch them play the game as a form of entertainment. No where on the ticket does it say "guaranteed win" or "competitive game". You should realize that by now.

I think the people who are just brushing it off know that everyone is frustrated. Most of us have been fans of this crap team since the beginning and their gameplay is par the course for this franchise as of late.

Maybe...but this is not what Tom Coughlin originally built.  We deserve better than this.

In his interview he talks about the atmosphere at the Chiefs stadium and the Seattle stadium. Well the big difference between those stadiums and here is that they have proven consistent winners playing there. Give Seattle our 14-41 record and the "12th man" would not exist.

The Chiefs were awful for years so I disagree with your opinion on them being proven consistent winners?

Arrowhead has a longstanding reputation for being a tough travel game for NFL teams regardless of the chefs record at the time.  Seattle may have it's share of bandwagon fans  - but KC fans get loud on third down and a "light attendance" day there is about 68,000.

They are also known for the "bbq cloud."  One end of the stadium is partly open and the tailgaters that set up on that end send smoke billowing into the stadium. If there's little wind, it will sometimes hang there for half of the first quarter. Fred Taylor has spoken of it being the most hostile atmosphere he played in.

If you paid for a ticket, traveled to Nashville, and attended that Thursday night game only to see your team mail it in (and we all know they did not give their best effort). I think it's safe to say that you didn't get what you paid for.

Going to the games not expecting to be competitive was OK in 2013. In 2016, not so much.

If you feel that way, it's a real easy fix. Stop buying tickets.
