Greenville Church burned and spray painted "Vote Trump"

Quote:Why can't you discuss it? The event that led up to the "Beer Summit" was big minded and adult like? I'm sorry.. I cannot even try to debate something that is utter fiction. You wanna claim he is this boogeyman stoking the flames of racism, I will look at you like you just said we should bring back Guy Whimper to solidify Offensive Line play.

I defended nothing about the cop's actions.
Yet you seem to completely ignore how 0bama has been irresponsible by not leading the effort to improve race relations, resulting in them becoming worse under his lack of leadership on the issue.

Quote:I defended nothing about the cop's actions. What should he have done differently? And when you answer that also answer how the Republican party which has tried to subvert his every move since becoming president would react. What's irresponsible? You are making a case he incites racial division. Not doing enough to improve racial division is one thing.. arguing he is the cause of heightened racial division is another.

I've already stated what he should have done. He should have stood above the fray and become a bridge the way true leaders do.
Instead, he incited more division by not addressing the lie of "hands up don't shoot." He wasn't a voice of reason when he defended the rioters, instead of denouncing that behavior. And, even from the very start, described the "Beer Summit" cop as acting stupidly. That's childish. Whenever any racial issue came up, instead of being a voice of reason all could look to, he instead either took a side or remained on the sidelines without comment. There are no sides in any of this if it's going to be resolved. We're either together or apart, and he missed that opportunity in his role as our leader. Not yours, not theirs, not mine... our leader. Cop brutality isn't a racial issue. It affects us all. That was never addressed. The lies were instead let run on and on.

The Skip Gates incident wasn't even the first that demonstrated the divisive nature of this president.
On Election Day in 2008, the New Black Panthers put representatives outside of a polling place in Philadelphia. They carried batons and made threatening remarks to any whit voters who attempted to enter the polling place. This incident sparked a Justice Department investigation where the lead on the case said it was a slam dunk case of voter intimidation. He made his recommendation to the new attorney general, Eric Holder, who was ordered to punt the case by his boss and instructed to do the same in any instance where the accused was minority. Obama allowed his IRS to target tea party groups applying for 501c3 blocking them from claiming not for profit status. Any left leaning groups were passed through with little issue. That selective targeting practice continues to this day. During campaign stops this week, Obama has been telling minority students that if Trump wins, their Pell Grants and other aid to predominately lack schools will be cut off or severely restricted on day one. A flat out lie, but when the black vote isn't as motivated to vote for an old white lady as they were for their messiah, you've gotta do what you have to to motivate them knowing they're not inquisitive enough to question the claims of The One. During his presidency he has targeted religious groups (except for sacred Muslims) forcing mandates on them that directly challenge their religious beliefs. He has dismissed the success of small to mid sized businesses that have become successful by telling owners that they didn't do that on their own. He has sent thebJustice Department into Ferguson to investigate the police following the Mike Brown shooting, creating a culture of distrust in the police force only to find that they didn't do anything wrong in this incident. The Justice Department cleared the Department of any wrongdoing, which was barely reported. The list goes on and on into just how divisive this man has been after running in 2008 on the platform that he had the unique ability to unify us. In polling, race relations were indicated to be good or excellent by 60% of blacks and 70% of whites at the time he was elected. Those figures have cratered to below 50% for either side most recently. It's been a steady decline. He had an opportunity to bring this nation together, but being a Saul Alinsky disciple, and a community organizer at heart, he chose to spin up the divisive rhetoric and stir the pot instead of trying to continue healing wounds. He has set race relations back probably 30 or 40 years in the process. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
Question to the conservatives on here. Is Obama responsible for the Charlestion SC shootings which is considered at hate crime?
Whether someone has a liberal, or conservative viewpoint, a authoritative figure should not lock a thread for the sole purpose to get the last word in all the while prohibiting someone else from being able to respond.

Quote:When any human discharges a firearm they are solely responsible. Whether it be by accident or intentional. But Obama is responsible for the deep racial divide in this country though.

Quote:Apples to oranges. I don't get it I guess? He has encited blacks to play victim and hate white people which in turn has caused white people to feel threatened and retaliate right?

Quote:Have race relations gotten better or worse under Obama? Neither. He has exposed the injustices and disparities, which has caused people of all races to stop and pay attention.

He may be responsible for creating the environment of racial discord, but he's not responsible for the delusional actions of an individual just like the gun isn't responsible for the shootings. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
Quote:Neither. They've gotten significantly worse. Polling data supports that notion. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
Quote:Race trolling as usual, one of his favorite pastimes. So asking questions about race and how Obama is directly responsible is "trolling" now?
