I'm not sure about one thing though. While I'm reading that Appleby will be taking first team reps with Franks/Trask battling for an opportunity to play, does that mean they're battling to start or just be the backup in case Appleby is injured? I'm wondering because Appleby isn't the answer either so I'm hoping we get to see one of the freshman come in and get a chance.

There is no reason to want any player to get hurt unless you are an evil human being. Good people don't want their worst enemies to suffer. LDR is not even an enemy. He just sucks as a QB.

If you are happy he is out because of an injury, you are a bad person. You can be happy he was benched because of bad performance, which I would be too.

 

His time at UF is not done. He is eligible for two more seasons. His time as a starter may be, though, and I would have no problem with that.

Let's be honest, Florida losing was a good thing.  They do not want to play Alabama in the SEC Championship.  Whoever the east sends to that game is going to get absolutely slaughtered.  It's going to be embarrassing.

I gotta admit... I was hard on the point about LDR being better than Appleby.

 

I may have been very wrong. He may have just been slightly better.

 

but now... I dunno... behind this Oline, I'm not sure any QB is going to be effective.
