Wide Receivers and Separation

Quote:Yep, they get open plenty. Sucks we have a QB that can't anticipate guys coming open like virtually every franchise QB can. Those same open receivers drop crucial catches. It's a two way street. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS
Quote:Those same open receivers drop crucial catches. Marqise Lee is good at dropping passes in tight coverage and catching them when he is open. That has been my impression since the Packers game.
Is this thread real?
"Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, if he gets angry, he's a mile away and barefoot."
Quote:Is this thread real? Of course it is. Otherwise it would not exist. We all know there is way too much negativity on the board and will be until the Jaguars hire a new coach. IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS
This sounds like 2012 all over again. WR not getting separation lol
Yeah there have been some drops but Bortles throws are not easy to catch, no spiral what so ever and then add inaccuracy to that. ![]() We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

As much as Gus should and will get fired for the record, the players are cupable for their play. They're playing like crap and need to step it up. Not everything is squarely on the shoulders of every coach when the players play poorly, drop a pass or fumble a football. PLAY BETTER!

Quote:Can we at least admit now that Lee is better than Hurns? Say this again, and YOU will be slapped.
I saw plenty of separation last week. Blake missed on two shots that should have been big gains.
This season is like the bizarro version of the offseason's version of the 2016 season.
Quote:Say this again, and YOU will be slapped. Lee is no where near as tough as Hurns. But he's clearly a more gifted athlete and he's becoming the better NFL receiver of the two. This should be no shock given the draft position of the two and should be a welcome (if overdue) development. Doesn't matter though. Hurns' toughness in the slot (despite Bortles leading him into big hits too often) and Lee's speed outside make them complimentary players. It doesn't matter which is "better." They both bring something vital to the table. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Bortles does lead Hurns into bad decisions. http://www.espn.com/blog/jacksonville-ja...-toughness Remember this Article? I personally believe Hurns will be our second best receiver of all time (#1 in my books) because everyone is a Jimmy fan. I want to see Hurns finish his career here because I know his character and his ability. You don't let a player like this go. He almost reminds me of Mathis, quiet guy but always grinning. We are lucky to have him because he is not a diva, he's that Anquan Boldin, Andre Johnson, Cris Carter, Reggie Wayne type of physical receiver. So my opinion is he; is our most valuable WR. Quote:While Bortles has struggled, the WRs are dropping easy catches too though. Quote:When you get enough points, you can buy attribute increases for separation. Lol, if only it was that easy. |
