shad khan is the worst owner in sports
|
I hear Shad's soccer team is down right terrible too. I think Shad has done a lot for the Jaguars, but in terms of the sports scene itself, it seems he has a bad track record on creating winning teams so far.

We (fans) were duped by Jags Marketing, a lot more this past off-season than other years.
With that said, I'm also glad that Shad Khan got duped by the expensive bum free agents that Dave Caldwell signed the last two years I'm calling it almost even
He bought a great investment property. That's all.
I ain't no monkey... I'm an ape.

Quote:Fulham right now is two spots short of the playoffs.I only heard of them being relegated to lower leagues or something. I do not watch or follow soccer all that much. If you get relegated to a lower status or play less than stellar teams and your record is 4-5, isn't that still kind of bad? I don't even know how their leagues even work. Update: They were relegated in the 1st year of Kahns ownership from the First team Premier League to the mid tier PL2 league, and are currently 4-5-0. https://www.premierleague.com/tables?team=U21
Quote:Shad is a great owner from a financial standpoint. The football operations is something else. He is a little too patient and I hope he learns from this. I remember when he got here he said that he would NOT be as patient as the last owner. And NO, I don't have any links or anything, I just remember him saying it. I fully expect Gus to be gone at the end of this season, if not before, as in sometime after the reasonably expected winning season is no longer a possibility, which is fast approaching. The move will have to be made because even though Gus is really a nice guy, he has proven, over and over again, that after 3 1/2 years of being here, he just isn't the right HC to lead the Jaguars out of these dark and down franchise times that have gone on longer then they should have. I have to believe that Khan is aware that the fans of the Jaguars, especially the fans who go to the games and those who invest any kind of time or money on the Jags, need something positive to energize their fandom after this dreadful start to the 2016 season, after all the off season moves and talk about how this year was going to finally be different and the turning point where the Jaguars finally got back on track and surprised (in a good way)some people this year. He just has to realize that letting Gus go would be a big energizing boost, and bring new excitement, to the fan base and it would last all off season long and then into the 2017 season and beyond. He just has to. I can already hear Gus saying as he is on his way out "We just didn't get it done".
I survived the Gus Bradley Error.
Quote:And Here I Go... You are going to play the " What if card?" Good Luck with that. By the way if .....oh geez, how many should I list? if I list enough, the Jags are 8-0! Jags scored 7 points in first half. 14 for the game. That is not a good offense.

Quote: Nice one! I thought I was the only one who knew that here. I tried to explain it before but the Packers were in town......
Quote:Then shut up. If you can't even move on from a team that isn't even in your city, then you really are pathetic. Stop being a punk, grow up, and move on.^^^^^THIS

Because he havent fired the coach fast enough for you?
This man has done so much for the city and the team, he isnt cheap, he improved the stadium and bring other non Jaguars stuff to the city of Jacksonville, and your calling him the worst owner? A bad owner is cheap and fires a coach every year and hire terrible people, Khan has hired a lot of good football people, is he a perfect owner? No, this is his first HC and he wants to give him a chance, Gus will be fired after the season and Khan will prob go out a get a proven HC.

Gus Bradley, Jaguars
Even if you consider Bradley all but fired now, the Jaguars are smart to retain him for the time being. There's nobody of any note who is going to come in midseason and turn around Jacksonville over the long term. Any outsider would need a full offseason to teach the team concepts and scheme, and any promotion would be unwarranted. It's the same logic that led to quarterbacks coach Nathaniel Hackett's promotion to the offensive coordinator role after Greg Olson was fired. The offense was a mess, but why would Hackett be able to fix it after watching Blake Bortles ' mechanics go completely haywire on his watch? Bradley's likely in-season replacement would be assistant head coach Doug Marrone, but interim coaches often fool you into making a bad hire . Bradley would need a scorching-hot second half to hold onto his job. He would need to go 6-2 to make it to .500, and with the Broncos and Vikings on the schedule at home, the Jags will have a razor-thin margin of error. You also could make a case for Bortles appearing on this list, but the Jaguars are committed to Bortles and his fully guaranteed contract for the time being. Even if they fire Bradley and replace him with a new head coach, it's extremely likely that Jacksonville will ask that new chief to try to rebuild Bortles before moving on to a new option under center. The make-or-break year for Bortles is likely 2018. Bradley has to win now to have any hope of being around for it. http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/18012...-half-2016 <p style="margin:0in 0in 15pt;"> ![]() |
