The problem was Republicans. Health care reform was only made possible because Congress had enough Democrats to get enough votes (60 in the Senate). If the Senate turns blue, things will get really interesting.

This is completely false, the democrats had a supermajority. They talk now about how the repubs supposedly blocked but they had 2/3rds or w/e they needed in 2010. They just proved they were bought and paid for. This is why getting news from places other than major news networks is important.
