If you give a team an OLINE that blocks well

you don't need a superstar RB.

Or you can make a superstar RB....

1) Jon Allen - Alabama.

Incredible Dline player with very few holes his game. I can't see any reason why this would be a bad pick.

2) Take the best OLine guy available. Have no idea who that is at the momemt .

3) Best S/CB available, safety and cornerback is really deep this year, similar to the 2014 WR class. Could get a 1st round talent here in the third.
I would be good with this. Allen is one of the safest picks in this draft, if not number 1. The only thing I'd add is that they do need more offensive line help. If they don't find this in free agency, they may need to go for another lineman in the 3rd. Cyprien has played better this year and I like the combo of Ramsay and Colvin at corner.

We have to get a RB that can put the offense on his shoulders.

Ivory...lol

I like Fournette but Jonathan Allen from Alabama looks like  a promising interior defensive lineman. He can pass rush and stuff the run. Get rid of Odrick to free up cap space to sign some OL. Doesn't look like Bortles will be receiving  big deal so we will have plenty of cap space.

Fournette would be a great selection. If this next coaching staff wanted to play it safe and not take a huge risk / reward type player. I think he's the safest pick in the first round. Depending on the scheme and how well the run blocking improves he could be a work horse as a rookie. Could maybe a get a Todd Gurley rookie type season out of him.

Trade that first rounder for some picks and start building this team from the inside with good players in the mid rounds......they're hungrier and aren't prima donnas.

I'm burned out on first rounders.

and stay away from gator players.

He doesn't look that great to me. I know he's injured but still.

Injured and no passing threat so he's playing against a stacked box.

Yeah, no show against Alabama, no show against Florida. This guy shouldn't even be compared to Adrian Peterson.

He shouldn't even a top 10 pick. He's not a Peterson or Zeke level back

Yup, mjd faced 8 in the box and led the league in rushing. This guy cant even do anything against 8 in the box in college.

So neither MJD or Adrian Peterson had bad games in CFB?

Still a hard pass for me, even moreso now that it's rumored he will likely need ankle surgery pre draft.
